Metallica, Thrash Metal. Obsessed, Doom Metal (the best). Then there are Stratovarius, Power Metal... and so many, many, maaaaany other names and tons of other subgenres. I'm totally in favor of subgenres, really, I'm TOTALLY in favor, because there's quite a difference between Stratovarius and Saint Vitus.
