What makes me want to say that he’s indulging heavily, is the fact that the music is insane, drugged, crazy, but NOT Nervous. There’s no outburst of anger, no sharp sounds, not even the slightest hint of hatred. There’s an incredible benevolence that flows throughout the whole album. However, if it were only MDMA, then it would have more tracks like no. 4 (sorry, but even though I’ve heard it very, very well, I don't have the titles in hand :D) or at least more stretched instrumentals; instead, there’s also some weed involved. The weed is what makes it go wild, what makes him throw in those English lessons that had me in stitches <<“Hungry”… “Affamato”… “Sooo Long”… “A Lungo”>> and samba breaks over drum & bass beats... and so on. Anyway, it's an awesome trip, and I'll buy them all one by one. Really cool, it's like a SquarePusher + Mike Patton album.
