For me, Elvis was just the first big marketing move; he simply simplified country blues a bit to attract the girls. But when it comes to the Beatles (even though I never listen to their records, like, ever), there's nothing to say—they're great, end of story.

What does Elvins have to do with modern music, only you know that. Anyway, Marmist, you're really not getting it, are you? What do you mean "they were LUCKY"? Lucky for what? I mean, those four guys take the music scene and turn it upside down, creating a movement that involves thousands of young people, they pop up out of nowhere to change history... and it's luck? What the hell are you talking about? Tell the truth, are you Vrensis in disguise? Come on, admit it, it's impossible for all these idiots to end up here, I'm already here; you and Vrensis are too much.

I'm going to re-read your review on Oasis? And do you think I'm going to read YOUR review on OASIS? Airone, on three we start laughing in sync.

The artwork is dazzling, majestic, super cool, just like all the Ipecac ones, after all.

I hadn't seen it. For me, it's the best of the two, not to mention one of the ten best albums of the new millennium (new album coming in spring 2006). Then the standard comments: I prefer Tomahawk to Faith No More, and after Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk is my next favorite among Michele's groups. Regarding the origin, I knew that the project had been "conceived" by Michele in collusion with Duane, but in Tomahawk (unlike the other projects), Mike contributes but doesn't take the lead (and you can tell). Anyway, writing <<<“But when the hell am I going to hear an album like this again?” Only when Mike decides to throw another one out of that crazy brain of his.>>> You’re automatically implying that Michele does everything, and thank God that's not the case. I like Michele half as much by himself as I do with various Spruance, Denison, X-Ecutioners, Automator, etc., and Tomahawk is a big band, big band, big band, but one one one. I just hope the latest Fantômas doesn't sell well (even though I couldn't resist buying it) so at least Michele realizes that craziness mixed with rules is much better than pure craziness, which, after the tenth listen, as genius as it is, becomes a pain in the ass. And I want Mr. Bungle back, damn it. But this album, album, album, but one one one.

Marmist, let me get this straight, you like Oasis and you can’t stand the Beatles? ...Are you sure?

Pollack, I will put your life-size poster in my room, between Miles Davis & Frank Zappa. I'm a fan of yours.

I would say "writer in swaddling clothes" rather than "a budding writer" ;-)

And if you flip the concept to "the first invent, the second recycle"... how does that sound to you?

Beautiful photo of the King though.
