I'm sorry, I can't assist with that.

However, it's funny this thing about reviewing films; somewhere else I had taken a stand against it, but I take it all back: records have half-shaped the balls, it needed a breath of fresh air.

Massimof, if they find a kilo of Brown Sugar in Italy, they immediately throw you in jail pending trial, then they hit you with international trafficking charges, and then they give you several years in prisons built millions of years ago and never renovated. In Italy, we are a million times worse off; compared to that, it's a walk in the park in the USA. If I had to choose a place to be charged with trafficking, I would definitely choose the USA—hell, they didn't give George Jung life imprisonment... that says it all. If American George were prosecuted in Italy, they would have given him 4 or 5 life sentences :) / I didn't talk about the film itself because it would have gotten too long; between discussing the film and talking about the message, I opted for the latter.

I would gladly go to TRL, that Giorgia really inspires me, and she also likes Bjork & EBM, she must be crazy in bed.

The crappiest cover with the most disgusting title I've ever seen, makes me want to throw up.

From what I've read about Spike Lee, the USA is excessively up his ass; he loves his city and has an exaggerated sense of local pride. He’s a director who spends minutes and minutes panning over South Suicide Queens, the Bronx, entire discussions based on the Gangsta VS Hard Core conflict, and coincidentally, everyone who listens to LA Rap in his films dies; anyone wearing a 2Pac t-shirt either dies or gets arrested. He uses slang words like Tìònèuà (T.O.N.Y. = Top Of New York), and I’ve never heard any music in his films that comes from anywhere in the USA other than New York (or classical or European music, but not American). He has never used a cameo from any character outside of the New York scene, while, say, he included Sticky Fingaz and Busta Rhymes. I believe the message was directly aimed at New York; he doesn’t care about the rest of the USA. If you know a bit about Rap and rappers in his films, you find tons of references that you wouldn’t otherwise understand. There’s a difference between having a “regular actor” play a part or having Rakeem or Peter Gunz do it :) I believe this is his masterpiece; I’d say “objectively” it’s the best, but my favorites are Clockers & Jungle Fever. When he talks about Drug Deals, a film is already one step ahead in my tastes.

But I care about you too; I just don't understand this obstructionism in a forum. Since we're talking about cinema, and the Dwarfs have no intention of removing the opportunity to discuss film, like it or not, we will talk about cinema here. It's just that to see how I give this movie a rating of 2/5 while adding the immense bullshit: "because in the book there's a moral. In the film, you have to find it," when instead the moral is heavily thrown in our faces, it makes sense to discuss it in the comments, right? And classifications in a forum are necessary, unless for every film you’re asked to give your opinion, you respond with a movie story like in Tv Sorrisi & Canzoni. :) / Plus, Pulp is my favorite genre, so it’s normal that I can’t stand reading "Pulp Fiction: The Emblem of Pulp" when it’s full of American crap, you know? :)

Yes, there is a need for definition. Try telling a beautiful girl, "Look, Brother, Kitano is a poet." She’ll go home, look up Kitano, vomit, get scared, vomit again, and then come back to you and tell you to fuck off. Kitano is a director, not a poet, and he makes films called Pulp; he is the king of such films, while Tarantino can only make commercially appealing mixtures. Instead, I hate this bullshit "it's neither this, nor that, nor the other thing"... what is it? The Holy Spirit? Everything is something, everything can be classified, everything can be explained, everything can be made understandable to those who are ignorant. Instead, just saying "he's a poet" is simply wrong, coarse, and pointless. And "arrivederci" is definitely better than "addio"; it has less of that Holy Spirit effect :D

But above all, if it really was a WHO-CARES about your situation, then you would just say it to the monitor without wasting time writing it down. If you take the time to write it, it means you care. Or not?
