There's already a certain "nonsò" above that calls me a little fascist just because I'm not a hard-core communist and red to death, and more will come. Nice group, nice movement represented by that name, nice things said in the interview posted by kosmo, really everything very nice. But I'll listen to it right away, right away. European modern music? EH? What the hell is he saying? EUROPEAN modern music? But the Stooges were from Los Angeles! What the hell is he talking about? Just because the Stooges didn’t claim to be punk, they aren’t? How stupid is this Ferretti? ... and I should listen to this?

Have you ever heard the saying "for better or for worse... as long as it gets talked about"? What are we discussing here? Isn't this already propaganda? ...Are you sure? Four of you are telling me that politics has nothing to do with this, and I almost believe you, but the fact remains that as proof of the fact that these guys led to discussions about communism, there’s this review. 80,000 political comments, and we're talking about communism. All thanks to their name, the logos they carried, and various crap. But do you really want me to believe that you would have reacted the same way to a group called NaziFascioEuropeo that had a swastika and a fascio in its logo and was labeled underneath "Emilian folk music punkfilonazi" while discussing the issues of the elderly and teenage acne in their lyrics? I don’t believe that for a second; you would have reacted poorly, as is right, and it's right to react poorly to these guys. Now in this rec, there are only adults who have delved into the issues; wait till the old-school supercommunists come to praise this thing, and then reconsider the positive and negative effects of this nice group name, this album, this logo.

I may be deaf, but you see only the cultural side, while I focus WAY TOO MUCH (I admit I exaggerate) on the practical side. Promote the CCCP brand as if it were Coca-Cola, and I’m not on board with that.

Good metalhead, I'm not saying I equate everything on the same level, let me give you a crude but effective example: there’s diarrhea which is very annoying, there are hard shits, and there are also soft shits... so what? We're still talking about crap. Of course, Korea, fuck off, and Togliatti are huge discussions that require knowledge and guts, but I'm not wasting my breath talking about shit. All with much sympathy, really :)

It's not that it reminds me of something bad, it ADVERTISES something bad. Have you ever read anything about advertising, about how exposing logos in massive doses leads to their assimilation by humans? THEY ADVERTISE CCCP, SICKLE AND HAMMER, VARIOUS DICKS. The disc and the cover also ADVERTISE ON THIS PAGE WHILE THE MUSIC ON THIS PAGE IS NOT HEARD. BUT CCCP, IT CAN BE READ. I don’t give a fuck about this disc, it could even talk about Grandma Duck, but it ADVERTISES SHIT, THEREFORE it is SHIT.

Nothing Arianity, they talked about forests of wolves and mythology. Just for the record. This album talks politics, damn it, but am I the only one who sees the cover? I don’t give a shit about what’s inside; they appear on lists of '80s groups like CCCP, in record stores you read CCCP, and the kids say "Do you know CCCP?". It talks politics with the cover and the title and the name, enough to get told to fuck off by me. I read your review about Neu! and Quicksilver, then of course I laughed for half an hour (in a good way, eh) and reread several times your review on The Wall, which is like me reviewing NOFX; if you don't like rock opera, it’s normal not to like The Wall, but I liked the idea of shitting on it just to express the fact that everyone likes it and you don’t :D

Bogus, from what you’re telling me, I gather this thought (I'm not saying you said it, I'm just expressing what comes to mind): "They killed and tortured in Russia... but they were also very romantic and stylish, whereas in Germany they killed without style." Both are historical stains that deserve to be trashed; these records should have been made with an X over the sickle and hammer and with photomontages of Togliatti hanging, not to provoke...

<<< No one denies that the history of communist countries has been marked by repression, obscurantism, and assorted violence, but for years it represented a kind of "anti-world," a sort of dark earthly afterlife, about which nothing was really known and which could ALSO be romanticized... >>> That "ALSO" doesn’t solve a damn thing for me because we’re still talking about REPRESSION, OBSCURANTISM, AND ASSORTED VIOLENCE. So a big fuck you as well, I read CCCP and think: REPRESSION, OBSCURANTISM, AND ASSORTED VIOLENCE. In '84 okay, NOW NO. Absolutely NOT. It’s not something to resurrect any more than the Aryan Black Metal bullshit should be resurrected, because it's Communist Punk of my balls, the cover alone defines it as such. As far as I know, he could have been lying when he claimed it was a provocation, meanwhile CCCP takes up a third of the cover: MOUNTAINS OF SHIT.
