You started this part of the conversation by saying that the Zeke take from the BD. I responded to that statement saying that the Zeke didn't take even a single agreement from the BD, then you talked to me about movement, and I reiterated that I still disagree, meaning: the Zeke didn't even take the attitude from the BD, since in terms of attitude they are more aligned with 70s Hard Rock than anything else (motorcycles, leather vests... very Motor Head), and I’m reiterating that even now. As for the discussion about melodic HC, I agree that they were among the first, but for me that’s a fault, not a merit. :)

I don’t agree, even if you talk about movement. The ones who made it known are the Ramones and the Pistols, or the Dead Kennedys and the Black Flag if we want to be precise. The BD are certainly not the most famous, just a number in the huge list of punk bands, maybe among the top ten, but still on the list of those who “came after.” In London in '77, there were more punks than goldfish, and yet the BD were still in high school.

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful forum by Francis where he would tell us all to fuck off along with many other assorted insults. He also said that he would never return because he wouldn't lower himself to our level. Then he came back, and left again, slamming the door and telling us again that we were too beneath him. Then he came back again; we should start a betting pool on how long he will stay this time. The forum would need a good search, too bad it takes hours, but it's there.

Eh? The Zeke from BD don’t even get half an agreement, they are like Ramones with an incredibly polished and powerful sound. BD draws from '77, so how can you take from someone who takes?

In fact, the sentence is quite unclear: Fugazi's first album is from 1990, so they are the exception: I like them even though they come after the '80s. Oh, it's not that I'm a huge fan of theirs, but they are very valid. Plus, the bassist has the pissy-pissy record label, which makes me find them likable.

"Dorrian used the Growl for the first two albums"... Forest Of Equilibrium & The Etereal Mirror, not the first two albums of Ricchi e Poveri. You see, that's Growl from a little guy, not those bullshit metalhead deals with a double-headed axe attached for just one Euro more. About Philippo, okay, I get it, but it's still the same; you don't just go from Cannibal Corpse to a Gigliola Cinguetti. PS: the most hilarious thing I read about Bongzilla defending their gay vocal style was from some time ago, there was this guy saying "that's his original voice, he has it like that because he smokes twenty bongs a day! (and a thousand exclamation points, of course)"... it's a comic anthology of online laughter.

I bought the record just because the two-tiered cup full of Ganjah looks so alternative, it's me who tricked them, here you go.

... then there's growl and growl, and they use that pseudo-black metal which is just the worst. Even Dorrian uses the growl, even Philippo, but their growls are much less gay. The black metal growl sounds like the mating call of the castrated in love.

Okay, it's original, but it feels out of place. So let's record Topo Gigio's voice saying "strapazzami di coccole" over a Doom track; no one has ever done that... truly original, right? Now I'll tell Urlo: in the next album I want the Champions of Mila & Shiro and Chobin Boin Boin.

Ah, and Los Natas from 2003 onwards, their early albums don't say much to me but Corsario Negro and the Toba Trance Session are absolute masterpieces.
