But I wrote "The best technically are the Sunn when they play alone." You said "no." So, who is more skilled technically than Gregorio and Stephano? ... You're trying to trick me, but I'm not falling into your trap, predator.

Whatever your favorite is, in 80% of cases it's the Sunns that are involved, so it doesn't matter; the bad part is that you know it, yet you omit it just like Scaruffi does. If you then choose the remaining 20%, it's because you want to be the alternative contrarian, which makes you doubly Scaruffi. Shame on you.

Well, Bill is still tall and blond, a few reviews before gave him a degree in surgery (just like the others, eh, all graduates), so nothing stops us from giving him Swedish nationality as well. I wonder how he’ll feel when he finds out that he’s not an English musician, but a Swedish surgeon… jumping for joy at the very least.

Luca, you have a magnificent nickname.

The Thrones didn't say anything more to me than the rest of the Drone; being a super minimal genre, it's really easy to fall into the already heard. On the other hand, the "Porn (Men Of)" by Dale Crover is nice, just to stick with the Melvins saga. Wine Woman & Song is one of the most beautiful albums of 2004.

Well, for me, someone who plays solos for one or two minutes, who wears flared pants, has long hair and a beard, who goes to the Roadburn festival, and gets reviewed on Stonerrock.com and other Revival70 punk outlets has nothing to do with it. If you consider that he was the drummer for Entombed, I see even less of a connection. I understand what he means by that, as he elaborates later, but I don't get why he uses "punk roots" when the roots are actually Death Metal, just that. :)

In my opinion, the best to listen to are ASVA: Greg from Sunn & Trey Spruance, the Mr. Bungle guy, the one who played Guitar Sax & Pianole. The best technically would be Sunn when they play solo, but it’s not something you can listen to like "I’m going to enjoy an album"; it's only for appreciating the production and their sound technique. It's no coincidence that the two members of Sunn are part of more than half of the drone bands out there, and Greg is the master of the only existing drone label.

You should like the latest Yob, I haven't heard it yet (it's on its way to me) but I've read several positive reviews from knowledgeable people :)

I'm waiting to hear at least one volume of the Black-Saga before talking about the 0))), the "reissue" (it's not really clear how much of a reissue it is) of the Gribbled Demos threw me off a bit; if they start to mock again in the Black Saga, I won't buy anything anymore. In the end, only the two Whites are worth purchasing, the rest is too much "I can do it and you can't," to me 00Void doesn't say a damn thing :)

...ah, the thing about surgeons is a load of bullshit as big as a house, but do you really believe all the crap floating around online? Bill's waiting tables in Paris, nothing to do with being a surgeon. The other day, I read about Luca Zulù MULTI-Degree, and at this rate, we'll end up inventing Burzum as a Nobel Peace Prize winner.
