It was Lukin who spilled everything to the D.E.A. Cornered at the Modena-Nonantola interchange in an obvious state of intoxication, after being beaten with caps and pinched by the agents, following an exhausting search of his vehicle and various threats of windshield wiper confiscation and mirror puncturing, Lukin gave in, claiming that the two joints he had in his pocket were bought from (according to the statement) "the one from Eyehategod, the one who sings sludge, those dopes.". Because even Lukin is jealous of Eyehategod, because they do it better than him, the sludge. And we will never forgive him for that, Lukin, and we drown him in the granary.

Motorhead are a more powerful and bulldozer-like reinterpretation of Hard Rock from bands like the Stooges, MC5, Ac/Dc, and even Blue Cheer. As for punk, given the production and the presence of tracks like (I quote you) the melodic and driving "Sweet Revenge" (complete with a bluesy rhythm) and "Stone Dead Forever" (with a tail of incandescent guitar eruptions), for me it has nothing to do with punk. Plus, Motorhead existed before punk (formed in 1975), and Lemmy was a roadie for Hendrix (no joke), and he was a member of both Sam Gopal and the early Hawkwind (not just any joke). I think you could argue that bands like Zeke or other Hardcore groups have taken a lot from Motorhead, but saying that Motorhead takes from punk is a different matter.

Bought while exploring the various performances of Cobham, really very very cool.

The singer was arrested for drugs and launched an online fundraiser to pay for his bail and go on tour, which confirms what Moon says: everyone is jealous of Eyehategod. From the barn with fury: my name is god, i hate you.

Without a doubt, the worst album by the worst AC/DC.

Mr. Smash Car, this site currently has 4772 reviews. The Fu-Manchu have been discussed to the point of exhaustion, practically in every review of the same kind. It may be a novelty for you, but don’t you think it’s a bit of a ballbreaker for us to keep repeating the same concepts? The old reviews are even better than the new ones; take a stroll through the first 1000-1500, and you'll find all the information you need. // Giubbo: yes, it’s obviously a message much more theirs than mine. // Punisher: I'm certainly not going to take advice from the latest asshole who thinks they can tell me how and what I should write. // Josi_: I vote for the F factor. // Enlighten us about the location of the P variable you recommend to Josi_; it's surely a topic of interest. // Father: I want to kill you // Mother: make me a Nutella sandwich.

Be careful not to spread too much around that Lemmy refers to punk; someone might report you. But aside from the heresy of Punk, which simply doesn’t exist with Lemmy, I don’t understand why you would rate the second album by the thirty-year-old Motörhead a three. Since you clearly don’t like metal (it’s pretty obvious, considering the three and that you associate it with punk), why review Motörhead?

The Primus don’t make riffs. Here the drums are completely different from their other works, as they’ve shifted from a heavily rock drummer like Alexander to a fusion one like Mantia. That the voice is the Primus voice seems like a perfectly normal thing, what the hell should Les do, a vocal cord transplant? (Do you even realize what you’re saying when you write “Primus-style voice”? Well?) Up until then, this was the most different album in their discography. The fastest and the most jazzy without a shadow of a doubt. This is the album where Les does the craziest and most outrageous things; it’s an album focused much (too much according to the older fans) on the notes rather than the atmosphere. But if for you "Bob's Party Time Lounge" is just fun and nothing more, then I really don’t know what to tell you; it’s the fastest song in their discography, and Les works miracles. In this album, there are things they will only do here, they might even disgust you, but then to say "I don’t like this shift" is one thing, but don’t say it's the same old stuff because it’s not. And then, excuse me, you even say in your review that they're incredibly fast pieces, you contradict yourself. It’s annoying that you end up saying you haven’t listened to Antipop but mention you’ve read bad things about it and give us second-hand information. For me, the best are indeed the last two, especially the latest EP that oozes psychedelia from every note (except one track), a testament to their ability to change direction once again. You don’t like the Primus style; it’s clear from the fact that you give a 3 to Pork Soda. To you, they’re just a band that wants to make people laugh, and you’re totally mistaken: they are an extremely technical band and very difficult to imitate, while you limit yourself to saying whether they’re funny or not. This might be a 4, and it may also be a misstep by Les attempting a shift, but to say that it’s flat and that they’re washed up (it’s also beautiful how you deduce this from hearsay without having listened to anything from their last EIGHT years, not just half an hour) is quite a leap. Honestly, it would have sufficed to say: I don’t like it because here they've shown off their technique, and I would have completely understood you, but saying it’s bad because it’s the same as the others really makes no sense.

On the contrary: Too much trip and very, very little Hop.

I don't believe Giubbo. He was too ahead of the masses in 2003, let alone in '98. People want "Teardrops" and more melody and less sound. Not that one is worse than the other, but they are just different. This album is a masterpiece just like Mezzanine, it's just that they are different. This is already too electronic and cold to be appreciated by most people, and it's very little trip-hop.
