Or maybe they seduced him and then left. Or perhaps he found love at the Covo in Bologna and abandoned music. Or maybe they didn't have the money to take him along as he would only be playing on the songs from the last album, so he wasn't worth the travel expenses for the good boss of Matador. Since it’s full of Fugazosis around here, it’s emphasized that the Meadow were launched by Tolotta, Joe Lalli’s small production house. It should also be noted that since they left Tolotta for Matador, the records have improved by three thousand percent. But I don’t think it’s Joe Lalli’s fault nor is it the merit of Matador, maybe it’s thanks to the starch with the handle. And so far, so good.

Here’s Hal, but I actually "have it in for Aeneas" because he thinks there’s an Absolute evaluation of everything. He started by saying that Psychedelia isn’t worth a damn compared to classical music. The central point of the rant is the evaluation of two different genres, and that’s what I think is bullshit. I completely agree that Davis & Armstrong can be compared, and I even vote: Davis all the way.
