No no, leave me alone with the links, I don't have time to read 90 posts, really :D

Even just in these pages, without going too far, you are the only one who has given him more than 2, and even generously.

So what's the point? Shulze was born with the sound of the flush and will die with the sound of the flush... but is it beautiful? This is a Kraut record, one of the first Kraut records (because, undoubtedly and objectively, it is one of the first Kraut records), I give it a 4, but is it crap? How can you say that by giving it a 4, it is better than a 1 for which you said it was born and will die with the sound of the flush? And most importantly, how can you say they do something completely different when every human on earth connects them in the same movement? Something entirely different is Bach from the Sex Pistols.

So: this is a 4-album, a great example of Kraut Rock, which has nothing to do with the early Tangerine Dream, who fucks over Schulze because poor Schulze was born and will die with the sound of the toilet flushing, having laid the foundations of German noise music. You are the first person I've heard say or seen write such a thought. At most, I’ve seen a few times people say this isn’t too bad, but still from folks who worshipped Tangerine & Schulze; to say they have nothing to do with each other, I really hadn’t seen anyone do that before.

How cute... two gnomes and a hoe, it looks like a little fairy tale from the Brothers Grimm :D

Thank you, especially because the review of Neu! that made me discover they weren't a "side-project" but a "schism" was actually yours ;-)

I have that one dubbed, Giò, in fact it needs to be switched to the original, you are absolutely right. Among those released posthumously, it's definitely one of the best, and the cover with him dressed in that overly flashy-elegant way is amazing :D

An equal to his charisma on stage in terms of managing musicians, etc., in my opinion, is only one: Zappa. Of course, based on what I've seen on TV and read in interviews, I believe these two are the great stage captains. It's a shame they never collaborated, although given Zappa's aversion to drug users, Miles certainly wouldn't have appealed to him with the stuff he was taking morning and night :D

I STRONGLY recommend the DVD "Miles In Electric: A Different Kind Of Blue," which talks about the electric transformation, Bitches Brew, and the entire electric-electronic period (which, I must emphasize, is my favorite). I think it was filmed in '93, shortly after Miles had passed away. It's not just Luzzatto Fegiz discussing it, but the actual key players, from Hancock to Santana, along with Holland, Corea, Jarrett, Moreira, jazz critics, Joni Mitchell... in short, a fabulous historical document. There are various clips of live performances and, at the end, the full 28-minute performance from the Isle of Wight. It's worth every penny it costs and can be found everywhere. A nice selfless gift for Christmas, perhaps...

I arrived late to Umbria Jazz because I had a flat tire on the stroller, and I couldn't miss the 8:00 PM feeding. What a shame, my preschool friends told me it was a great concert...
