In short, it's a time when it's very difficult for me to carry on a discussion, so I try to select the conversations that deserve to be pursued, in relation to the time it takes to do so (in the sense that if someone asks me: do you like Barrett? I reply "yes" and that's it, if someone asks me "what differences do you find between Barrett & Waters?" I would say it takes much more than one word to explain). The fact that you don't like the four bits of nonsense that I put together in fifteen minutes (during which I write, edit, find the cover, resize it to 250x250, and send it... but I don't look up Freedb because I would exceed the max time) doesn't seem like an important discussion to me. The very fact that you call this a review would flatter me if said by someone else, but coming from you, it bores and saddens me. You, do this: before asking me something, review everything I've written regarding what I think of you, and know that I will always stand by those statements. Why do you even ask me about these things? You know that you'll only receive a "oh please" or a "how sad," I've told you a thousand times that I find it pointless to discuss with you, it seems rude to write it to you once again for the umpteenth time, but I see that every time you need to hear it repeated. Then oh, you are free to write any comments you want wherever, however, whenever you feel like it, that's clear, but if you're hoping to engage in what we might call "fruitful" or "sensible" or "purposeful" discussions with me (with others, of course, I don't know) know that it's a lost cause from the start. I repeat that I’m sorry to keep reiterating the same offensive concepts, but this is the situation, and it will remain so. I already consider it a huge waste of time to have reiterated the same point to you for the millionth time, but today I felt "good."

<<< I really love other bands and artists that you also appreciate.>>> Just one thing I'll tell you: the fact that you like Lynyrd Skynyrd but consider them inferior to "Born In The USA" only increases my aversion to conversing with you and decreases (if it's possible to decrease zero) my esteem for you. Look, I’ve told you a thousand times in a thousand colors, I've even run out of insults for you. I haven't read your reviews in ages; in fact, I don't even read your comments anymore. I barely have time to read others' reviews, just one or two every now and then when I actually have time, but I certainly don't have time to engage in discussions about the albums they review (so I don’t comment either, as it’s pointless to just write "I don’t like it"). I barely have time to respond when my name is mentioned, and that’s because those are the only reviews I get email notifications for (since I never check the box, and from the ones I had checked back then, when I receive a new email, I unsubscribe from the review).

Ah, why do you think I should talk about Music with someone who considers "Born In The USA" the pinnacle of Rock N Roll? What's the point? Digestive-Laxative, Ironic-Surreal, Schizophrenic-Isolationist... what’s the point? I see no point, only your relentless cosmic pessimism in citing strangulations, closures within ourselves, and especially in your continuous insinuations. As I repeat, I don’t imply a thing, nor do I seek implied meanings; I read what's written, and this is the first time I read the term music from you in this review. I’ve only seen mention of a phantom "review" you speak of but that I don’t see, and so much, so much sadness and isolation from human relationships. And I feel disheartened, almost worse than with cabbage for dessert, when instead I’d love to have some cheese with my macaroni. I would conclude with an ohibò, which feels so much like Carlo Collodi vs Tangerine Dream.

I have just one, but listen to Salsa & Merengue, both of them and their partner. They have almost 1500 CDs of only Caribbean music. Stuff that when I go to their house to see my nephew and I see that beautiful shelf for CDs so stuffed with crap it almost makes me sick. Oh, sorry, Salsa & Merengue and '80s commercial music that reminds them of when they were teenagers: Cindy Lauper, Bananarama, Nick Kamen, Bronski Beat... in short, how to illegally occupy a gorgeous CD shelf. I half intend to ask for custody of my nephew, to spare him a childhood to the rhythm of Bachata. Poor thing.

"...and Keep It Real," my sister-in-law from Southside Queens would conclude.

I have both of them (, I’ve been subscribed to the anticon mailing list for a couple of years and I shouldn't be missing anything from 2003 onwards ;-). I’ll tell you that I prefer the first one ("Them", if I'm not mistaken) to "The No Music". The latter has nice offbeat beats, but they don't quite ride them properly; they suffered a bit from a "I'll rap over anything" vibe, but it didn't turn out splendidly, which instead they completely nailed with the first one. Ah, since a lot of people here also really like cLOUDDEAD, you should check out the first one from Themselves; it’s not exactly the same but it's pretty close, maybe a bit more Rap :D

Ahi ahi ahi, I have the Split EP, but I'm missing this -> eaching Quiet – In the Shadow of the Living Room CD/LP (Mush Records – 2002) <- Do you have it? Is it worth it? When you brought up Nosdam, I thought I might be missing something (I really respect Nosdam) and indeed, I didn’t know they had also made a full-length. Damn, you never stop moving, huh (olè).

I’ve had "Reaching Quiet" for a while, but I didn’t give it many chances to appreciate it properly. I liked (and still like) the idea (very innovative in the genre) of the split between MC & Producer (also because otherwise it wouldn't have been a Split :D), but at the time I didn’t find any remarkable insights; it was very nice but not stellar. Keeping in mind that in the early 2000s, a great album was released every single day in the genre, I put it aside after a while. I’ll try to give it a more interested listen this time ;-) Just to say, I bought that and then about ten days later "The Cold Vein" came out, so you can understand perfectly why I set aside Why and Nosdam, while still respecting them, of course... but damn, The Cold Vein... eh :D

Massimof, no. To everything you said, I respond no. And this last comment of yours, coming after all the others where your situation was explained to you, is one of the saddest I've ever read. You insist on points that you discuss by yourself, and you discuss them alone because they’re rather uninteresting, and the fact that you discuss them alone highlights your situation as a lonely boy. And a lonely boy is a sad boy. And it makes me sad, to see you sad. Always and anyway, without even slightly affecting the broad margin of happiness I have by default. Maybe a little, yes, because it’s really hard not to feel sad reading your words.
