Well, but “breaking up” for those two is a bit of a stretch. They’re juggling about ten projects at the same time; it’s likely they’ll wrap things up under the name "sunn O)))" or one of the many others, but it’s hard to believe they’ll actually split. If they do, they’re both screwed, being linked together by a ten-ton chain. If O'Malla tells Greg to shove it, O'Malla doesn't have a record label anymore that lets him do whatever he wants, and besides, Greg is involved in some way with all of his 34 bands. Greg could carry on the Goatsnake project under S.Lord, but without the money O'Malla brings home, it’s tough to keep a record label afloat. Moreover, if they fight, a lot of people who play with or for them would be caught in the crossfire, and they'd only be trying to get them to reconcile. In short: they’re basically Sunndra & RaimondO)))
