Apart from the early proto-grunge stuff, I can't pick the best Melvins. I find this to be the best rock work under Ipecac, because anyway The Crybaby & Bootlicker are fabulous. Crybaby features guest appearances from all over the world. What really excites me about this is "The Fool, The Meddling Idiot," a riff that Buzzo hasn't pulled out in a while. With the Melvins, it's almost always a full 5. And here on keyboards, there's a certain Jones. Not Indiana but Adam.

In the meantime, I got Sucking The 70's, almost all of them fabulous, but I believe that the gold medal for reinterpretation goes to Brainstorm By Los Natas, seconded by Heads. By the way, the latest Los Natas that came out these days is also a great album, for me even better than Corsario Negro.

Two small technical typos, if you don’t include the "(GBR)" it won’t connect to the other reviews. The GBR is there to avoid confusion with the Talking Heads without David Byrne, who released only one album, under the name The Heads (and it’s pretty much trash). And the title of one link is wrong, it’s not "Everyone Knows" but "Everybody Knows". The editors have time during lunch anyway.
