I understand less and less.

No, I’m not understanding.

I didn't understand.

If the past is recycled well, there's nothing wrong with that. Drunk Horse (listen to In Tongue) or Orange Sunshine (any of them) are way better than hundreds of Hard Rock bands from the original era. And if it bothers you, just write 1969 on the burned CD, and it all goes away.

They don't mean anything to me. For them, The Datsuns are much better.

Thanks to the fuck that you can’t stand it: They played it all the time, continuously. This song perfectly coincides with the arrival of MTV in Italy if I remember correctly, spring 1994. And they played it always, continuously, at least 20 times a day. I really hate it, it completely ruined my balls because of overexposure. The year after, they gave the same great privilege to the Smashing Pumpkins with "Bullet Something," making me hate them too.

<< Gruff, Daniele Gruff, the one from Daisy? >> But wouldn't it have been easier to just open the link?

<< Japan, China, Korea >> But they don't do rap. As far as I know, we have the highest number of adjectives and synonyms among the languages used in rap music. Even DJ Honda (Japanese) was amazed by the translations of our lyrics that conveyed the same message (I'm better than you) in a hundred and twenty-eight different ways. << I'm not crazy about rap >> It shows from the fact that you like Micky Mix.

But still, I urge you to listen to Dj Gruff, because if you don’t know Dj Gruff, you can’t talk about Italian Rap with a clear conscience. As the creator of the most talent-rich scene (Bologna/Milan 1990-1998), he is not someone to leave in your various "I'll listen" lists if you like the proposed genre. Knowing Miky Mix and ignoring Dj Gruff, if the world were governed by Krs One, I believe would be punishable by death (with prior torture) :)

Yes, but I didn't talk about tastes. Lately, I've noticed that on this site, it's hard to have a clear discussion. I spoke about lyricists, and since it's a technical matter, taste doesn't exist; what matters is the ratio of rhymes to beats or rhymes per second (like kilometers per hour), and I'm pretty sure Neffa has been the best overall. Then he can be a genius, a disaster, or mediocre... that's not the point, nor am I interested in having the discussion for the millionth time about "who was the best Italian rapper."
