<< it started being used in reference to that (the marijuana trip) and to Palm Desert (but if you contradict me, I take it all back) >> I repeat, as far as I know, it's indicative of a certain type of sound for a long time. It just started being used again twenty years ago, and not in Palm Desert; the first ones to say "famo stoner" in the early 90s were Sleep, not Kyuss. As mentioned: read old interviews.

The battery needed to be amplified better.

The cover doesn't work with glasses. Injustice.

The term has been used for forty years, Sir Lord Baltimore referred to their production as "stoner sound," and they didn't do 30-minute psychedelic rides. Read some old interviews.

<<If all rock with the fuzzy and saturated sound were stoner, then the garage bands of the 60s would be too :) >> and indeed, retroactively, they are. I've posted a cover from '74 for you, remember. The word etymologically means whatever you want, but in music, the term is used exclusively to indicate a sound. If you don’t do it, that's fine, but know that the rest of the world uses it that way. Just watch any documentary, serious website, or magazine of the genre, and you'll see that Clutch is either there or mentioned, just like Fu-Manchu or Drunk Horse. Conventional words are such because many people use them; if you create your own personal etymological interpretation, then you can also call it "Alfonso" and feel good about yourself, but it loses any usefulness (and it was already minimal to begin with).

Wait… but you… are a human, right?

<< The stoner can and can only be "psychedelic" >> And what about Fu-Manchu, Clutch, Cathedral, Drunk Horse and so many others? << simple hard rock - (and "stoner" a term not yet in existence). >> Album from '74 Ingrandisci questa immagine \\ There's an amp on the cover of Green Machine single, the video Dragonaut starts with a shot of the amps, Anderson & O'Malley even call themselves Sunn O))), ORANGE Goblin, etc., etc... stoner is more about the sound than the composition. Saturated sound, that’s where the connection among the various "branches" lies.

This year I went to the "Stay Up Festival" at the Montevecchio mines, and that was more than enough as a non-Jazz festival on the island. And this year I also missed Sant'Anna Arresi, and I’ll miss Santa Teresa too. Luckily, in Berchidda there were some incredible acts this year, but by the way, have you ever been to Berchidda? Let me tell you, it's in a league of its own compared to any other Sardinian festival, it’s like another planet, really serious, serious, serious. And don’t tell me you’re working on August 15th...

This contract thing seems strange to me, given that she is famous for the fact that even though she sells like crazy, literature remains a hobby for her, and she writes the first draft during the twenty days of August when she goes on vacation. Maybe last year she had a crappy holiday. I still want to emphasize what Fiquata said: for years and years, you’ve been posting useless shit on the Homepage, and then you get scandalized about Vargas. Set yourself on fire in the entrance square of the next U2 concert if you really want to protest against contracts.

Thank you for the request, but for now I believe I've said everything I had to say (between reviews and discussions), and I would just be repeating myself. When I change any ideas, I will write it down. << "bluebell wood" is the third album by "the eyes of blue," later renamed "Big Sleep" for the occasion >> It's not quite like that; the Eyes Of Blue were six or seven people, while the Big Sleep had five. Essentially, the Big Sleep are the Eyes Of Blue minus a few members. I remembered there were quite a few elements in common, but actually, by googling it, you discover that they are indeed the same but with fewer members.
