Morello may not be a monster, but he's good, although you can only tell in his solos. The fact that the riffs are monotonous and simple is a necessity dictated by the fact that Zack had to rap over them. If you put rap over complicated stuff, you end up with a huge mess. Just look at Zack with Roni Size (Center of The Storm) - two geniuses, but a shitty song. With complicated guitar parts, you either don't add anything or, at most, vocalize, but not Zack's lyrics. Anyway, Morello's solos require skill, and I'm not the only one saying that.

On November 26, I took my first hour off to buy it. The shopkeeper handed it to me right out of the package that had just arrived from the courier. I didn’t make the receipt because I'm WAY too much of a fan, and I would have only done it with phrases like “just buy it and that’s it.” I took another free hour on December 6 for the DVD, and the DVD is MOOOOLTTTOOO better.
