a different speech from mine? :) but I've been going on about this section for YEARS... It's no coincidence that I haven't edited reviews in YEARS, having me hovering around during the editing phase, you wouldn't stand a chance! And you know this... let's stop it, it's better this way.

bartle I will speak so poorly disposed because so and so, and maybe you are right, but if you could intervene (and I don't understand why since you didn't edit the review) without being biased against geeno, perhaps we could discuss better. Hi!

I agree with Geeno about the Arnolfo di Cambio review, what a nice blunder... xEnbar: "For this purpose, what’s the difference between the decasi and the reviews on the homepage with the little hearts?" Well, at this point, I'm asking myself the same thing. Those with the little hearts seem to be the ones that the editors consider even more worthy of attention (the "de-selected" by the editorial staff), while the de-casi... I don’t know, do you know what these de-casi are? "reviews not highlighted on the homepage according to the sensitivity of the individual editor?"

Instead, the Oscar for Winslet in The Reader is well-deserved; among other things, the Germans loved her in that film, you're mistaken here. I considered it as worthy of an Oscar as one for Streep or Foster. In fact, I believe Oscars for women - except for this year's - are always deserved, unlike the male ones (not to mention directing). Because there are always fewer substantial female roles; moreover, for this film, Winslet received the Golden Globe for Best Actress, she didn't go unnoticed. The nice thing is that she also won a Golden Globe the same year for Best Supporting Actress, for The Reader, coincidentally... (for The Reader, she also won a BAFTA Award). Now, Ale :)) there are not just the Oscars and the Zionists of Hollywood... ... ...

DiCaprio is like wine, the older it gets the better it is. But this film didn’t particularly impress me because a few days earlier I had seen the excellent The Reader, also starring Winslet, where she is even more skilled... and there’s no comparison. And even the underlying marketing idea that accompanied the film, "the return of the Titanic couple on screen," well... maybe I liked Titanic more! :) Anyway, Mendes is a great director of the "classical" mold, but having debuted with a masterpiece like American Beauty, it's hard for him to outdo himself. Great review, thanks for consistently discussing cinema.

In fact, I wrote "it seems according to the daughter" (in the article she was talking about the entire service, not just this image). Corbis is the photo agency that holds the rights (Corbis=Bill Gates). The service was awarded to Ebbets in 2003... yes, I also read that the investigation into the 11 workers yielded no results except for one. Anyway, a Mohawk will never admit that there was a platform underneath :)) more useful to the photographer himself than to the workers, probably, since he had his hands occupied and his eye on the lens, he (I deduce... but then again, it’s not important, this is not a photomontage, it is.).

I just read a piece from the author's daughter, and it seems that some (a couple) of these workers were Mohawk (they were mainly from Mohawk/Iroquois tribes, the Native Americans who worked and still work on bridges and skyscrapers). It also seems, according to Ebbets' daughter, that there was a platform underneath to take this photo safely (a posed photo, therefore, "constructed," and not spontaneous)... Aloha.

(Geeno, say it's a quote your comment no.40) -- Damn, it wasn't just the Indians building skyscrapers; you Italians constructed half of America and half of Europe. Please don’t talk nonsense/bullshit/crazy things. The photo is original one thousand percent, see the link I posted; there are other ones of his on skyscrapers, published in the Herald Tribune. This guy was a photographer with balls, not a fraud! Thanks for your attention; here comes the storm finally.

"It’s obvious that I’m more flattered to find one of my writings in the 'literary cases' section." Oh my God, then I take everything back, if you're happy, everyone’s happy. Besides, they decided between the two of them, so it’s no longer a subjective decision, but okay, it wasn’t a controversy, just a doubt I expressed, but I see I’ve touched on some raw nerves, okay, I'll stay quiet, it’s better. Hi everyone. Oh, I almost forgot, next time a check on the links before publishing, like in this case where they were blocked...
