Words of Dj Hell read in Mucchio: "Yes, I am, undeniably, a sex machine. And if you ask me the meaning of the title of my album, N.Y. Muscle, well, what can I say... other than that the ladies REALLY like my muscle." --- "You see, dear friend, I'm taking advantage of you (Damir Ivic, the interviewer) to tell the Italian ladies that I haven’t yet had the chance to let them test my muscle. It's an experience worth trying, ladies. MY time has come; you need to stop with that guy, the one who’s always laughing, what's his name? Silvio Berlusconi... he’s already 'passé'... gone, finished... when are you going to get rid of him?"..... :D

Hal, if you get the chance (!) listen (always by Ryan Adams), to his CD released simultaneously with this one. "Rock N Roll" is the "official" album wanted by the record label, while "Love Is Hell Part 1" is the album that Ryan wanted to make on his own (Part 2 is coming out in a few months). It’s acoustic, more introspective, more sincere... nothing innovative (Dylan, Springsteen) but here you can really feel that the guy has talent to spare! You know who he reminds me of? John "Cougar" Mellencamp in his early days...

Titian, are you being funny?
Ryan Adams Rock'N'Roll

Ryan Adams is cocky, arrogant, self-centered, flaws that are forgiven because the guy knows what he’s doing, oh yes! I like this album and I agree with your score. Very special are also Burning Photographs (a song that reminds me of The Smiths), She's Lost Total Control (a clear homage to Joy Division with a welcome sonic youth-esque feedback), and Anybody Wanna Take Me Some (again a shoegazer track in the style of Morrissey)... Well done, Charles!

"Yes the Hammond, on which black record can you find the Hammond organ?" - "...the bass is perfectly audible and in some cases even predominant over the guitars." -- Interesting wwwathe, very very interesting.
