I don't know whether to cry or laugh... what a colossal mess! Did you have it in your hand while you were writing?

Dear Unauthenticated... :) nice there! Perhaps I explained myself poorly (I mean, when I wrote the comment, it was three in the morning, and I was caught up in the delirium of insomnia). The band with the ticket price issue has little to do with it. The finances are more complicated. Keenan takes this much (a lot), Iha takes another amount (the same or even more), Freese takes another amount (less than the other two but his value is rising), and Howerdel definitely earns less than the other three (despite being the most involved in the project)... and then the first three definitely have a personal agent (Freese is quite busy). The ticket cost includes: costs for hospitality and technical support (and also travel expenses), percentage for the local promoter agency (l'Indipendente, one of the biggest and most expensive in Italy), percentage for the band's booking agency in the USA, maybe even a percentage for the personal agent of the three, and a percentage for the technical service of the band that handles the sound and lights (and they charge well, indeed!)... take here, take there... in my opinion, the APCs take (for the whole band) from 5 to 7 euros per ticket. If not less. And this starts to make more sense and feel human (!): 1,000 people = 5,000-7,000 euros to be divided among the band members. 2,000 = 10,000-14,000, etc. If there’s someone to blame, it’s l'Indipendente. In Italy, the percentages taken by promoter agencies are very high. This is well known, especially when compared to the rest of Europe (except for the UK and France, Germany I don't know)... Then regarding the band being excited or not, that depends on the environment... I’ve already seen a pumped-up Maynard (see above comment), but that was ten years ago, and it was Tool plus other legends, which is another story!..... ;)

The review on Hüsker Dü was 742 characters long, including spaces. This one is 1,219. You're improving. But it's still not enough considering the caliber of the albums you're suggesting... or maybe it's just me having too high expectations. Anyway, good job...

Anyway, the story about the cassette is true, and I don't think Bleach is that pixie, in my opinion...

ngw, what a blast!!! :)) Right! The Butthole Surfers and not the Monsters!!! Cobain loved the Butthole... tricky memory! Yeah, okay, the Pixies... And the Sonic Youth? Let's bring them up too... :D ....... ps: Dave Grohl, even today, is as excited as an eighteen-year-old fan. How sweet! see, for example, his project Probot.

Psychopompe, you know the idea of Milli Vanilli isn't too bad (look at what Psychopompe has come up with, I wonder why he remembers them?): D Anyway, you're right, Gang Of Four are due for a re-evaluation... Yes, Robbe, I shamelessly stole that phrase from good old Manuel, I really relate to it! Thanks for your words.

I might know it, but not everyone does... or does everyone know Hüsker? Everyone, everyone, everyone really? In my opinion, a review should have some basic information (band members + label + any side projects), otherwise what's the point? Jeremy, your review is nice, even if it's more than essential, and I was hasty as an early fan... :) a smile to you...
