I completely agree with you, this is an album that I listen to often (like the ones you mentioned), it’s a great work from that unforgettable moment of Italian music in the '90s. Perhaps it was too avant-garde (in Italy) for the time, but now it would be appreciated more, given that the "people" have gotten used to certain sounds. For example, "Il mio malditesta" could today even be presented at Sanremo. The review isn't too long, the problem is that a couple of paragraphs are missing that would give some "air" to the reading. Good job, SouthMan!

Masterpiece of a review, absolutely brilliant! I adore R.E.M., they are a balm for the soul. Thank you for sharing this moment of your life, it was like watching a film with a wonderful soundtrack :)) I give R.E.M. a 5, but I would rate all their albums the same way, none excluded. Stipe is a wonderful person. (ps. the game about Sylvian was fun, but I almost risked my yahoo inbox crashing. Guys, mercy! :D) NGD, tonight EN.... aghhhhhhhhhh (fierce envy)...

for Vanamente: I read a beautiful interview with David Sylvian in Uncut yesterday, an English monthly. He talks about his life with Japan, his cocaine addiction, and the "friends" he collaborated with. It's a very enlightening piece about the character! Regarding this album, David Sylvian says: "Someone said this album has the coldness of a Bergman movie, and that's appropriate, it stares unflinchingly into... into the void..." --- Vanamente, a new CD by Mike Karn ("More Better Different" for Invisible Hands) has also been released, they say it's not bad... :)) Bye!

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh (frustrated sigh)! Hal, I understand you, they come around here too, almost all my friends go, but I can’t, I can’t, I can’t, I can’t! " AMAZING. Or "Grundstuck", a beautiful love song: "Was ich un deinen Träume suche? Ich suche nichts/ Ich räume nur auf..... Bis ich deine Träume im Dunklen leuchten sehe....". BLIXA I LOVE YOU!!!! Hal, you know how it goes... a shared misfortune is half a consolation (thin consolation aghhhhh) :))))) Let’s hope for NickGosthDrake to give us a little report..... :-/

"alias NickGhostDrake" ahhhhhhhhh, I get it :) I too would be tempted to have another identity, maybe a masculine one :))) I admit I had difficulty reading you this time (and you know I like you)... but these passages: "Like Velvet Underground dipped in the blood of My Bloody Valentine; acidic Jesus and Mary Chains flowing through the veins of Leonard Cohen; like Lambchop passing LSD to Mazzy Star" or "...as the voices within my neighborhood grow louder talking about a boy wandering through the sky, arms spread wide, on the clearest and calmest nights, and music softly drifting from my little room." to me say everything... and it’s for these passages that I vote for you. Twisted but with stunning photography. Honor to Yo La Tengo!

To lighten my comments, Vanamente :)) have you seen the cap he’s wearing on the cover, Sylvian? It's from the Swiss army! (I’m Swiss) :))

At most, little boy Matteo, I’m a woman. :))) and STOP being a crybaby ā€œeveryone is against meā€, behave yourself, because I actually like you, come on! Seriously, give us a nice review, a few more words, spark our curiosity, I don’t know anything about grind-core. If you don’t feel like it, that’s okay, I’ll stop being a pain in the ass (oooops!) and leave you alone. A smile to you.

Matteo, are you kidding us, FRIEND? Every review on de-bas has a cover! The dwarves were honest with you, PROFESSIONAL (reluctantly for sure, but they were, hats off to them), now it's YOUR turn to be honest. CUT IT OUT with being a whiny child and a wanker, you're not funny anymore, and SURPRISE US with a decent review, preferably with a decent cover.
