Nice little disc, I have to say... :) A bit of the credit also goes to the album's production, handled by Jerry Harrison of the Talking Heads. Rating 3.5 for the record.

However! You're getting better. I'm leaving you this comment knowing that soon I'll be faced with dozens of "playful" comments, but it doesn't matter. You deserve a vote of encouragement... :))

That's the beauty of it, you throw a stone into the pond and then watch how far the ripples go. Iko, your ripple was worthy of a wave in the ocean, MAGNIFICENT WAVE! However, I dissent on The Who as proto-punk; I’m all for the Deviants and Stooges and the Detroit_New York scene, while The Who were all geared towards other shores... It’s very true, though, the debate about what the true First Rock Opera was. Ultimately, this one was defined as the first because it was the first to be performed in theaters (and is still performed today). The works of Pretty Things and Kinks and the other aforementioned were projects that were never staged; they were only released as albums.

Thank you Iko, it was what I expected from you, even without knowing it was one of your "2" records to bring to Mars (until I install a Safari among my brain cells, I can't read your notes... sic!). Oh my, if I had known it was one of your sacred records! :))) Thank you for promoting me (let's say a "pass", huh?).

Defining Gershwin as the father of jazz... mmmmmhhhh perhaps, but what about Duke Ellington and Armstrong?
