I am here to reiterate that this is a great review of a great album. Also interesting is Socrates' contribution, information that makes everything very 'fascinating'.... :)

Thank you all for reading me and for your lovely words! :)))) … as for the character… I often deal with American blues musicians, and when I mention John Campbell, everyone tips their hat; in America, he’s a legend. For those in the know, I’ll add a couple more pieces of information: accompanying Campbell on this album is Robert Cray’s band, and there’s an acoustic album of his that I recommend to fans of Robert Johnson, from 1988, produced by Ronnie Earl, called "A Man And His Blues." The peculiarity of this artist is that he plays acoustic instruments (I quote from the web: Gibson Jumbo acoustic guitar 1952, National steel guitar 1934, National resophonic guitar 1940) amplified in a way that makes them sound like electric guitars…

... looking back at it though ... well, you say it all, I would have done some sort of biography, maybe it's better this way, JamesChange has always been in the background so this is the right review for him... :D

Noooooo.... Ale Ale I never criticize the length of reviews, but this time it really feels a bit strange to see James Chance summed up in just three sentences, but maybe that's because I'm a die-hard fan of this group and so... James Chance can be found today in the new Blues Explosion, playing the sax on one track, and next year a new album of his will come out (or at least that's the rumor). This album you are presenting is a first-class cult, but it is as unknown as it is seminal. Every lover of garage and no-wave should have it. This is a record to place on the same shelf alongside Talking Heads and Television...

True, a great album! I heard it from a friend and I've been wanting to listen to it again, and I will, sooner or later. Thanks for reminding me :) ZiOn, your reviews are always great, they are thorough and straightforward.

Here’s this one by Daniel Lanois I didn’t know... I think I'll approach Dylan (whom I find hard to endure) and this album with a lighter heart now. You call me a romantic, but you’re not joking at the end, are you? :D Great review, Benzo.
