Benzo, this record, here in Switzerland and in France, was released on February 21. I had the advanced copy for a month, but I waited for the official release before talking about it. To prevent unnecessary future misunderstandings, I need to shed light on a couple of things: 1 - I write reviews for a monthly magazine, a daily newspaper, a regional weekly, on my blog, and on Debaser, as well as other platforms (both print and virtual). I write about twenty reviews a month, if not more, regarding music. I also write about books and other amusements. This is just to say that I know what it means to be a reviewer. 2 - These activities allow me to make distinctions and to explore. I should mention that here in Switzerland, musical advertising is almost non-existent, so, unlike my Italian colleagues, I’m free from any constraints dictated by record marketing. However, when I write a review, I always take into account one very important factor: the target audience it is aimed at. When I write for the newspaper or the weekly, I write "orthodox" reviews because the target readers for these publications are vast, open-minded, and of all ages, so more than reviews, I make "descriptive presentations." When I write for the magazine, I consider a target (according to the latest statistics, about 10,000) that is more informed, interested, and receptive to reviews and/or critiques and to some flashes of madness, but in any case, I must be objective; if a record sucks, it sucks (which is not the case here, anyway). Here on Debaser (and on my blog), I start from the assumption that all readers, without exception, are very knowledgeable, ā€œprofessors,ā€ like you, so they certainly don’t need my "presentations." Before joining Debaser, I had the choice among various platforms, Ondarock, Kalporz, etc.... I chose Debaser precisely because it is more FUN and DISRUPTIVE and PASSIONATE. Because here I can talk about a record in a radical, imaginative, or personal way, as if "at the bar with friends," and this is precisely because I have high regard for the cultural versatility of the patrons of this virtual café. Do you understand? Here on Debaser, I have the freedom to do as I please: I write a little assignment (I've done that already), I write nonsense (already done), I write fantasies (already done), and I will do other experiments, that is, what I feel as Kosmo, and not as editor-in-chief, reviewer, etc. - and above all, not what others want to hear. -- If this doesn’t sit well with you, I can’t help that, Benzo, but let me say it. We all understood how you think. Now calm down. You have my respect because your reviews are well-crafted and often interesting, even though in my opinion, they would be more justified on other platforms. But that’s just my personal opinion, which doesn't undermine the quality of your work. In short, I would never give a 1 to your reviews because they are of a different genre than mine. Then there’s a factor that unites us: the passion for music. Don’t forget that, Benzo, in this we Debaserians are all the same, neither more nor less.

Maybe not him (I say maybe, because you never know, even if there’s doubt). But Nick, yes, he definitely felt it. And that’s enough for me. :)

I expected this reaction from you, Benzo, and your 1, what do you think? It doesn't surprise me... how predictable you are! Castigamatti. :) I've already told you a thousand times, and not just me, we are on debaser, not on some 'orthodox' review site... ugh, why do I even have to repeat it...

:))))) Exactly, Gubbio, they WANT to be seen, a random name... Courtney? -- Socrates, ahahahahah beautiful! Damn, incorrigible :D anyway... here I wanted to focus on something else: love in music. We always talk about bands, alchemies, "camaraderie." But when it’s a couple, him/her, then for me things change, and I’m very interested, regardless of the musical genre, I reiterate ā€˜regardless.’ The White Stripes, for example, are so cute, they immediately caught my interest, which dropped right away because you can "feel" they’re not a 'real' couple (they capitalized on it but they're 'just' friends or siblings, whatever). Let’s take the Royal Trux, or the couple Gordon/Moore, or John/Yoko, or Richard/Linda Thompson, and just a few others... really few, because the most difficult, the most demanding and complicated thing, is to make quality music as a couple of opposite sexes and RESIST. It takes a strong bond that goes beyond canonical love. It requires suffering, endurance, tolerance, and more endurance, it takes courage to look each other in the eye, to not lie and to not lie to oneself. In short, yin/yang, tantra, and those kinds of stories... :) this fascinates me a lot. --- Ultimately, the music here is blues mixed with electronics, her voice is similar to PJ (but it was said that PJ's voice was similar to Patty's, remember?), and they have a nice acid vibe. Nothing overwhelming, but well performed. - Easy, in emo there are no measures. :)

(If they go to throw up in the bathroom, how do we show it in a morbid way?)

"No Wow, no wonder. It's all here, naked and raw" this phrase explains everything. Nothing new, nothing special. That's how I read it. Derivative, yes, a little spoiled… but still better than the groups that are popping up today, those who are even said to "imitate" the Strokes, the Rapture, or Franz Ferdinand, as if they were geniuses... then if you read closely, you'll find all the musical references: Rolling Stones, blues, electronics, etc. But you have to read carefully, eh!

"...she's a rich girl who wants to stand out at all costs, he tried with different groups (the last one Scarfo) and then he found the golden goose (her). Jenifer RT is authentic; she definitely isn't. How can you be a big spender and be able to finance a tour with your own credit card?..." said our Vv once... and she's right... but this album inspired me for this movie, what can I do? long live love :))
