A beautiful review. And the comments are no joke either. I also got that compilation, the one with the Italian artists paying tribute to Tenco. They were selling it at the supermarket in the box for 10 francs (6.60 eu)!!!!!! When I listen to Tenco, I always associate him with Dalida. When I was little, I adored her; she was like a queen to me, she was beautiful! Tormented souls. She also took her own life, 20 years later. She tried three times after Tenco's death. Terrible, terrible.

Finally, I heard it (thx Hal). Nice review, Charles, which I agree with (including the rating). I was very curious to hear Luttazzi's singing voice. That strange voice, breaking, with its high tones. At the beginning of the listening experience, I was taken aback; I imagined it to be more brazen, instead, I find a Luttazzi, rightly as you say, elegiac, delicate (!). Disconcerting. I really enjoy this album, I like its 'musical' structure, it engages me, particularly (my generation has been decimated by heroin, and some lyrics are spot on). The song Make Your Mother Sigh is very beautiful, for me the best track, here there's great class, the choir, the musicians, and him, who sounds like Jon Anderson from Yes doing soul....
