I haven't read the one about Quicksilver yet, it's on my list :) Devobogus? Of course, and in that one about Floyd you really went for it :DDDD It's a dilemma Bogus, I know. I came back to this review because I had skimmed through your comment about ampollosità a while ago, and it struck me. Here on debas, there's a bit of a distinction, the "educational" reviews (as you defined the one about The Wall previously published before yours), and the "personal" ones. Here on debaser I've tried to write in both ways... my review of Einstürzende for example, I hate it, it turned out the opposite of what I wanted (too cold, the same for Tommy). In short, it's a dilemma :)))) hey, have a good weekend (ps: Bogus Man like the song by Roxy Music?)

"Ah, if only I were really like that all the way"… but we all are, we just need to bring out the Devo that’s within us! I'm referring to your comment above where you say your review seems pompous to you. That's not true, but if you had brought out the Devo within you, because I know it's there (or at least I suspect it), maybe it would have "lightened up" :)) I’ll tell you… I never liked them much, but lately I’m listening to them again with pleasure because now – at my venerable age – I feel more receptive to devosophy… do you think that’s normal?

exactly, because it's not clear from the review, I was wondering if you weren't a bit devolved too.... Itchy goo

I think Ege knows the LoungeLizards well. Scherer, a typical surname from the St. Gallen region... I'm glad you mention the Swiss guy. There aren't many big names in Switzerland, but there are plenty of musicians playing in international bands, especially in jazz. The Swiss are great session musicians... (I have to find some consolation in something.....)

Let me tell you a story. Thanks to Devo, a beautiful friendship was born for me. When I was selling records, I had the double anthology in the store, which consisted of two separate CDs. One day, when I was absent and only the apprentice was there, a guy came in and took the cover of vol1 displayed in the store. The kid put the CD inside it, and the customer bought it. Then I made a bit of a fuss because the kid had sold only one volume, and for me, it was a hassle to get rid of vol2 without the first one. Indeed, it was like that, and that vol2 remained in the store for over a year, and in the end, I took the cover displayed outside, put the corresponding CD in it, and took it home, forgetting about it for a while. One day I pulled it out to listen to it. And I noticed that inside the cover of vol2 was the CD of vol1. "Damn! So that customer who took vol1 actually got it with vol2 inside!" You can imagine what a rough time my apprentice had, because he had mixed up the discs by putting them in the drawer with the codes reversed. This happened about 8 years ago. Three years ago, during a dinner at home, this guy from Como, whom I didn’t know (a friend of friends), picked up vol2 (the cover) and said to me, "Ah, the Devo are legendary!" He opened the case and saw that vol1 was inside. He looked at me and said, "Can you believe it, is it possible???" He was the person who had purchased the wrong CD. In short, we exchanged the CDs, so finally, after five years, they could return to their rightful cases, and now I have one more friend. Isn’t that a very “Devo” story?
