"Moreover, they are also annoying show-offs and assholes, and that’s what makes them magnificent. All the greats are show-offs, and they can afford it." Only a few have been able to afford it: Brian Eno, Miles Davis, John Zorn, and Frank Zappa. Everyone else has yet to crawl for a long time in front of these GODS, including Patton (and we won’t even mention the Elites).

Well, Katzen, it's true they're wonders of technology, but "personally" I'll tell you, they don't really have that much charm, QUITE the opposite. For me, simply having made them perform and experienced them up close as "artists" and "stars," I can only say they're absolute assholes. That night I made it clear with a "who the hell do you think you are" when their tour manager blocked the stage setup by tying a hammock between one pole and another and parked himself inside to block the passage because they were about to play with Elii... It's all good, but when someone blocks your safety access like that, jeez... arrogant band, arrogant tour manager!!! - Dots, sad fate? Ehhhhhh??? But look, menstruation isn’t a punishment! That’s a "Catholic" preconception! It’s purification, renewal, it’s health! It’s a fortune for us women; when menstruation doesn’t work, it means there’s something wrong, it’s our alarm bell! And that’s a blessing, not bad luck... oops :D

Dear Doubtful, you say that I am "leftist and therefore anti-Catholic by default and therefore trendy pro-Muslim..." The example I provided was merely to highlight the GRAVITY of the situation and NOT who perpetrated it (and also because it is a recent fact). But rightly, since I did not explain myself well, my message could be misinterpreted (still, calling me pro-Muslim based solely on a three-sentence post seems quite reckless, if you allow me). The point is that we are discussing "desecration." Considering any religion and any act of desecration. So the question is: tearing up a photo of the Pope (or an ayatollah, or the Dalai Lama, etc.) is as desecrating as urinating on a holy book, or issuing a fatwa (see the recent Van Gogh case), or even killing and imprisoning followers of Falun Gong, etc.? Sinead, who dramatically expressed her dissent, simply "excommunicated" herself. In doing so, she "divorced" from the Church, showcasing a strong gesture, much like the countless women (or men) who tear up a photo of an unfaithful husband (or wife). Because that's how it is, the Vatican is UNFAITHFUL to Catholic Ireland, that is undeniable. Tearing up a photo is not an act of black magic; it is simply a "j'accuse." A gesture that surely outraged and offended many people, but at the same time, it was a gesture with which many Irish people identified. I don't know, do you remember four years ago what happened to the girls at Holy Cross school? They were afraid of DYING, do you remember? Do you know what it's like to be any Catholic in Ireland walking down the street, with your heart in your throat because you could be blown to pieces at any moment? Do you know that life in Ireland is worth nothing, or less than nothing? That Belfast is almost like Kabul, but we in Europe close our eyes? And everyone is indignant about Sinead... ah, blessed naivety...

Tower, even though I don't like the Elios (I agree with Easy and Freddy), the review is written very well, good job! :)

The Necro, what a fun guy :D I also prefer Gory Days, but I've never dared to decipher the lyrics (even though there's someone who tells me the story, right Taunus?) :))

(sorry for the mistakes) Ajeje, I almost forgot: to me, you are already a five-star reviewer, and I think you will be in the future as well, by default :D

Well said Ajeje, although I highly doubt that people would spend 20 euros based on the ratings, I think the premises for making purchases arise only from reading the reviews and following personal trust in the reviewer and their taste. Ultimately (it seems to me) this is how it has always worked on debaser (anyway, I am an advocate for the outright elimination of ratings on debaser). So I’ll tell you what I’ll do today. I know this album quite well, but I don't own it physically. So this afternoon, I’m going to rush to a megastore and get it along with Songs For Drella by Turkish. Now I MUST re-listen to them after reading your reviews. (I could download them from the internet, but honestly, I prefer to spend money on the originals; these are cases where it’s worth it.)
