Less emphasis Mc, tighten, cut, densify; there are too many flourishes Mc, I like you more when you’re direct. Then in this record, there are top-notch musicians, a little mention for them too?

For Giuni, I agree with Enea; I was about to write it too... a great artist, let her be.

very enticing review! However, Francesco, I don't like the beginning. Let's avoid those phrases like "there's no this artist or that album on debaser, so I'm filling the gap." There’s still a lot to write (and listen to), right? :)
Blondie Parallel Lines

"Blondie is beautiful"... no of course Debbie Harry is beautiful! It's night, it's hot, I'm losing my mind!!! p.s.: I also wrote a review on Blondie, but don’t read it because it’s disgustingly AWFUL (it was my first one here, a test to feel the waters). This one, on the other hand, is just 'à point'. :)

What can I say? Blondie is gorgeous, I love her, even now that she looks like an old hag (oops!)... reading the comments, I feel like telling you this: there’s a movie dedicated to Basquiat, that is "Downtown 81", directed by the filmmaker Edo Bertoglio (... from Lugano), in which Basquiat himself tells about a typical day in the life of a broke young artist in downtown NY City in the '80s. The film was shot in '81, but it came out in 2000, if I remember correctly. I’m telling you about this film because it’s really well made, a continuous delight: there are excerpts from concerts, rehearsal rooms, "contaminated" nightclubs (the scene in the nightclub while there’s a fiery live performance by James Chance all dressed in gold with The Blacks is amazing...), there are scenes with Television, DNA, Tuxedomoon, Kid Creole & The Coconuts (iconic!!!) and others. Check it out! www.www.downtown81.com (THE SOUNDTRACK includes music by: Gray, Jean Michel Basquiat with Andy Hernandez, John Lurie, DNA, Tuxedo Moon, the Plastics, Marvin Pontiac, Kenny Burrell, the Specials, Chris Stein, Melle Mel with Blondie, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, James White and the Blacks, Vincent Gallo, Lydia Lunch, Steve French and Suicide.) bye :)

bogus we got stuck on the cover etc., but the CCCP were also a live band, they did "theater," not just concerts, let's not forget that.
