Well, I like this album (when sober). I’d rate it 3.5. JoP, calling the version of Love Is Love useless, though, seems a bit bold to me; maybe it is for you, but as a fan of Lungfish, I’d say it’s actually a necessary act of love towards a very ‘special’ (and almost unknown) band that’s seminal for a certain brand of indie from the States. As for the rest... a good de-gustibus is totally valid here, just to be clear (I hate Elton John, but Daniel is really beautiful sung by Oldham, in itself).
