New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble Live In Europe

I, on the other hand, really like skajazz... I almost prefer it to swing; by the way, it's a well-defined genre, ska-jazz. It’s not ska. It’s not jazz. Here, I think, unnecessary debates. The review is nice, but it's not a 5, it's a 3.5. It lacks context (there are people who have played with other prominent musicians, like the Skatalites), it lacks defined genres (for instance, rocksteady), etc., etc. But I’m still happy. Tribute:

They are very, very good, people with a long musical history behind them... the last phrase, although impactful, seems unfair to me; if there's a genre that has been influenced without batting an eye, it's definitely jazz, often thanks to the jazz musicians themselves. Great proposal anyway, there’s an entire world behind this project: jazz, swing, ska, dancehall, calypso, rock steady, killer brass, and terrifying keyboards.

Very good review from a musical standpoint, but not very contextualized... but that's okay (too). Fela For President!

mmmm.... it's not a genre that is very popular here on deb, as you may have noticed, but the feedback is excellent! bye :)
