didactic review, mediocre comments. Let those who can save themselves.

Dante, however, is among the editor's choices, and it will stay there for a long time :)
The Doors L.A. Woman

Vic, an apt comparison that few will understand, the chatter about Iggy and Mick, what do they even have to do with it... Rock and roll animal, but how great is that record? Beauty and damnation... a decaying cathedral.
Refused The Shape Of Punk To Come

Questo è il battito. Questo è il suono. Questo è il ritmo di una nuova generazione. Questo è il movimento. Questo è il ritmo. Questo è il rumore della rivoluzione. Sì, sì, sì, sì. Refused party programme!

I liked the review, it's just as you say, as Vic and Ghemison say: macabre blues, sickness, expressionism, visceral quality... mournful serenity, yes. (Pene, and absinthe no?)

But doesn't anyone talk about the sound of this record? Nobody wanted to deal with the Doors (because of Jim's excesses), if I'm not mistaken, a producer - whose name I can't remember but I believe had produced a Joplin record - left three days later, so Manzarek decided to do everything himself, called a technician friend, and they worked on a simple eight-track. Jim locked himself in a bathroom to record the vocals because he was convinced the acoustics were right... with what results! A marvel of analog, this record! High-toxicity blues, John Lee Hooker (Crawling King Snake is his), and then the lyrics of LA Woman, great writing art. Personally, I take a stand for The WASP Texas Radio & The Big Beat, delirious. Also, this record featured Jerry Scheff (former bassist for Elvis Presley) and Marc Benno (guitarist for Leon Russell), it's worth mentioning them. One last thing: L'America was meant for Zabriskie Point, but was rejected by Antonioni. Sticazzi!

Okay, let's say that this review fits excellently among the others already present.
