But you know, if by chance you happen to catch a show on any Spanish channel (like a variety show or a talk show), you would notice that Spaniards are lively and a bit crazy. Let’s not forget about surrealism; they know how to handle it like few others... anyway, I’m biased. Almodóvar is one of the few directors who knows how to speak to (and about) women. Real women, not pretty women or devils wearing Prada. A purely feminine opinion :)
