So: maximum respect for Manu, the disc in question is fairly enjoyable, he is an excellent craftsman, I even reviewed him here with another record, but... what an awful cover, for me it definitely takes the prize for the ugliest cover of the year.

Poletti, this is unmissable, check it out. Maybe naif in its plot (full of references), but a delight for the eyes, an expressive black and white like few others, truly a masterpiece of cinematography, a "dark" imagery, as Blacky aptly described. Have you seen The Outsiders? If not, watch that first and then this, at least for Dillon, outstanding in both. Then there's Rourke’s short but intense part in this... it's anthology material. No need to say the same about Hopper; he’s always a monster.

The theatrical setup is what makes this film 'heavy,' just as the colossal set design of Brazil did (by the way, they were released more or less at the same time). A fusion between the two would have resulted in the PERFECT film. "La libertà è la libertà di dire che due e due fanno quattro."
