Nice review. Rhayader: that's right, Japan brings 'special' things that aren't groundbreaking, sure, but they are compelling. In electronics, post-rock, or math, not just in psychedelia. But I wouldn't say they are the most advanced anymore; these days, everyone is more advanced, as Anglo-American hegemony is coming to an end.
