And why are you here, Alexander? Don’t tell me you’re a fan of Pennywise! Applause to you as well, and close the curtain properly.

Dear Yosif, since "there was a risk of overloading the servers, which as everyone knows" at the beginning of this year it was decided in the editorial office to never include images in reviews again - except for the cover image - unless for truly exceptional reasons (but truly exceptional, and at our exclusive and UNAPPEALABLE discretion). This is how it is TODAY. What happened YESTERDAY does not count. So: with all due respect, affection, and consideration for the good review, but the Pennywise are not that exceptional, sorry. The matter is closed. Period and back to square one. We wish you a pleasant stay on Debaser. Regards.

Connecting to the somewhat confusing review of this festival, I want to remember just three things, in this order: 1. The cry of After: "I WANT TO DO SOMETHING USEFUL!" which gave me goosebumps (for me this is the most important and terrifying concept expressed on that occasion, whether it's Benigni or not, Povia or not, Masini or not) 2. Dolcenera: if I were a man, I would marry her immediately. I know she's been around for a while, but I’m discovering her now thanks to After; I haven’t watched Sanremo for more than 5 minutes in years... 3. Patty's boobs: blessed for reevaluating the "klein aber fein" category (bunnies or no bunnies).

(all that rambling without punctuation - the "focal point of the Festival" - honestly, it's quite a feat to read it) I really liked Dolcenera, a breath of freshness and spontaneity like few, truly charming...

DJ, now the discussion is clear and I would agree... however, I want to remind you that for the first twenty years of her career (I mean 20), she stayed in Italy, sang like there was no tomorrow, did a lot of television, and performed a ton of concerts, and only after deciding to no longer perform "live" (the reason why is not important now) did she retreat abroad. This is a fact, she didn't just run away as soon as she made the first billion lire!! Let's give her credit!... another thing, didn't I say that my city is boring, stifling, etc.? Is it necessary to rub it in? Of course, I would also love to live somewhere like Florence or Rome or Assisi! Anyway, here I may not have art, but I've got cows right outside the neighborhood; we're people of lakes and mountains, and I like it that way. Am I wrong? // Cptgaio, :-) "greedy, jealous, and morbid"... I meant to say "passionate people" with all the pros and cons that entails. I didn't mean to offend // ValerioRivoli, that treasure he is, hit the nail on the head, his comments are always spot on :-) Long live our casinos, where hordes of Italians throw their money down the drain on Saturdays! Casinos and prostitutes, that's what we've done for humanity! // Hymnen, it was just a joke aimed at DJ, I know Milan very well, I’ve never had anything against Milanese people, never had anything against Italy. Have I ever said anything against Italy????? While I see that ignorance and preconceptions make my country seem like a mess in your eyes. And that honestly saddens me. Oh, no one says you can't have your own opinion, so keep it, it honors you. // And before I wish you all a good Sunday, I’ll share my thoughts on Mina as a singer. I've always thought she had a great voice, but sometimes she’s so garrulous and self-satisfied that it borders on hysteria (as ValrioRiv puts it another way). And as Panapp says, the collaborators she chooses are not up to par. The result: irritating peaks of self-satisfaction poorly supported by a weak musical foundation. Disturbing. // Greetings to everyone.

No, so your problem is with the city(dina) Lugano and the village(paes(ino) in Switzerland (your opinion), and not with Mina who is an "expat". But of course, Lugano is stiflingly boring and not very cheerful and whatever you want, it's not up for debate (I say this as someone who lives there), but then let's not discuss why she left, okay? If your point is about "where" she went, then it ends here, don't bother explaining... (by the way, if I'm not mistaken, she has a house in Forte dei Marmi where she spends almost the entire summer, it's not like she has completely VANISHED from the face of Italy, eh).

Listen DJMUSHROOM, just shut up, because your comments are a veritable potpourri of clichés, aren't you ashamed? Without dwelling on those expressed about Switzerland and other countries (now...), I would like to defend Mrs. Mazzini regarding her trip here to Lugano. I often see her grocery shopping or having a coffee in the square. Here, she is treated for what she is: a chubby lady going grocery shopping, and not even very pleasant. Here, she's Mrs. Mazzini, not Mina. And she pays taxes, I assure you, she pays them here because she receives safety, order, and discretion in return, while in Italy, what would she get in exchange? A swarm of fans outside her house every morning? Journalists ready to photograph every fart you make with infrared? Being Mina in Italy must be very, very exhausting... you are a wonderful and generous people, but at the same time greedy, jealous, and obsessive, with your "idols," with your "peculiarities." Mina loves her country just as much as you do! She loves Italians a little less, especially hates the Milanese who are convinced they are the center of the world. Look how strange...
