The girls are two Germans, the one on the right (black bikini) is a kraut, she's the sister (female for sure) of one of the Can (Michael Karoli), and she herself helped Ferry with the German part of the lyrics for Bitter Sweet. She's too made up, which makes her look "fake," but it was the style at the time. For me, Out Of the Blue is also the favorite from the album, great track. Nice review.
