The Congos Heart Of The Congos

The fact is that reggae is not our culture; it's light-years away. It's like klezmer music, which is entertaining but often (unconsciously or deliberately) overlooked for the millennia-old culture it carries, the Jewish one. If you think about it, a sound (literally "sound") originates from Jamaica, the dub, which has set a precedent and is the foundation of the much-praised electronic dubstep of recent times. Take, for example, the latest by Shackleton, a dubstepper who wanted to dot the "i's" in this regard with his record. Not to mention the African percussion, which is the basis of all dance music since time immemorial. The fact that black music in general is almost snubbed on DeB is one of the major flaws of this site...

Anyway, Pj can be (outside of the musico-rock context) a sweet and delicate woman, almost shy. I saw her on the street at the Locarno Film Festival (she was there as a juror) and she was unapproachable precisely for this reason, not because of aggression or sharpness... And to be honest, I would also lick her legs :)))

(You know Cappio, he just needs to listen once!) Nice review, I don't know them very well, I go with them in bits, I'll give it a try.

Is "rock" your favorite word? You've written it nine times here. I mean... meh.

I agree with Fiquata, although I think Rollins had his merits. One of the few bands back then that brought everyone together, medallers, tone-deaf, and straight-edgers (at least in my area). For me, that's what made them great.
