Lucio Battisti La batteria, il contrabbasso, eccetera

Oh, Odra, I've realized that you can’t live without me! Regarding this album, I've already shared my thoughts in the comments on Bogus' review on ITNT, and coincidentally, which is not so common these days, I agree with Bogus and how: the provincial effect of tracks like "Io ti Venderei" and "La Compagnia" is glaring and understandable, appreciated to a certain extent, but from an experimental point of view, certainly remarkable. It revisits certain experiments from a masterpiece album like "Amore e non Amore," on which, coincidentally, I've already expressed myself. ;) Regarding the review, it’s true, the reading of "No Dottore" is a bit forced, while I like, or rather, I don’t dislike "Dove arriva quel cespuglio," which Cece may have found a bit tacky, but to me, it stands out as a beautiful fresco of the everyday that only someone like Mogol could render with such imaginative and linguistic refinement: in this regard, I recall pieces like "Al Cinema," "Il Monolocale," "Il Salame" of the same ilk.

I wanted to add something muy interesante: Kris from Kris & Kris on MTV loves Boyd's butt. And I know you were eager to find out, and I just told you. Yes, that's right.

I know, it innocently lies among the home records, maybe after reading Soc I think I'll have to pick it up again... ;)

Bogus and Odra, shall we beat Sampyr to a pulp? :)

Are you a supporter of the apparentist movement? Good, I’m a post-Westernist; Bogus, I think, is a womanizer. Everything fits perfectly!

I'm not going to review Radiohead at all, Giov, not even if we talk about it ;)

How sheep-like you all are, the poor rebel comes here to share her thoughts and you say: "Hey, what nonsense are you making us listen to!" ... anyway, these are personal opinions, plus Nelly isn't that bad, I even like her, long live folklore!
Antonello Venditti Che fantastica storia è la vita

Well well, how can I not agree with you? Good Antonello has certainly become quite worn out and recycled, but still, I like to remember the return of the great Gato Barbieri on sax in the title track, a great revival of that masterpiece which was "Modena" from more than twenty years ago, with a splendid performance by him. I wouldn’t throw "Benvenuti in paradiso" overboard, which I occasionally blasted on the stereo (and okay, I was 7-8 years old), and there are a few flashes of light afterward, even if with a certain taste of worn-out stuff.

"Rooms like this" is one of the most acoustic pieces from Battisti's latest work. "La Moda nel respiro" is perhaps the only comprehensible track on the album, and why not, of the entire B-P production. A bit worn out as a review, but it is true that this was the only one missing in the series of reviews on B-P... :)

Of course, Miss, what do you think... after a review like that, shouldn't I feel my balls a bit sore? ;)
