Of course, I wouldn’t dream of it, Fest, I agree, and in fact it’s not my intention to glorify Virgin; however, I would be overall less severe in my judgment of the major: the album was a flop, as was easy to expect, so a turnaround was to be anticipated. In my opinion, it was already remarkable at the time that there was interest in a purely German band working for an even more German label (excluding the collaboration with Polydor for the first album). Then I don't quite agree that the Faust are back in fashion: do you think so? The promotional effort is still at dawn. Sure, there’s Cope involved, there are reactionary sites like this one that are reviving krauto-mania, but apart from that, I still see a lack of publicity for German rock, and especially for the Faust. Just look at the shelves of the stores: few traces of the works from the '70s, and none at all from recent years. Schulze and Tangerine Dream are more fortunate because they made the choice to record for the majors, and now they can be found more easily.
