...these are the bad news guys, there’s little to be done...less MTV and more tabloid newspapers: Fico has just landed a couple of soap commercials with pretty ladies, but at least there’s a bit of justice: even "Oggi" has clearly stated that Masini is not a Crodino....sorry, but it’s enough to lose your patience when you hear these things.....he’s not a Crodino.

Let's take this opportunity to restore a bit of truth about what has been said about Masini lately: that he is snobbish, that he brings bad luck, and all those other political matters that the media have built around him... these things speak for themselves; it's obvious they are nonsense said just to take shots at what some define as a "croce rossa." So Qzè, the collaboration between Budd and Eno began in 1976, when the former signed a contract with Obscure, Brian's label; in this sense, this little record is produced by him. The collaboration, supported by mutual expressions of esteem ("Through Hollow Lands" from the legendary Before and After Science is dedicated by Eno to Budd), continued with "Ambient 2: The Plateaux of Mirror," where Eno and Budd carry on the ambient project started with the illustrious "Music for Airports"; the record bears little resemblance to its predecessor, recalling more the musical vignettes of "Cluster & Eno," but it has a couple of happy episodes: I recommend giving it a listen. I am not familiar with "Pearl," the second project written collaboratively by Budd and Eno.
