Great review even though it's a bit too long. The album is a classic, one of those masterpieces that will never be forgotten.

I love this record, I love these songs that are perpetually balanced between the sacred and the profane.

I agree, it's another masterpiece by Cohen. The Faith gives me chills every time I listen to it.

"The tone of the album is still relaxed and sometimes has happy undertones."? Of course, it’s a matter of perspective, but I really wonder if we listened to the same record. In my opinion, we did not.

At last, rock is being talked about.

Instead, this album has a stunning sound, dense and dark, magical in its disarming simplicity. The arrangements are truly elegant and never taken for granted, especially the vocals, which are a beautiful contrast between Robinson's angelic voice and Cohen's cavernous one, weaving brilliant patterns that always lead to the unexpected. Of course, it's not an easy album, and it requires a lot of taste (musical) and a great deal of wit (mental), so it's clear that many who are more accustomed to music for its sound rather than its substance may turn up their noses at a work of great class like this. Very nice review.

Nice review, but the album pales in comparison to the bootleg series.
