I haven't listened to the whole album (only a few tracks), but Dire Straits remain one of my favorite bands... what can I say, a music enthusiast, as you put it, doesn't have great judgment skills...!

To me, the Pink Floyd albums all seem exceptional… you can't say that WYWH is the "quintessence," because it's not, but you can't say that about Dark Side either… Pink Floyd are not a "unique essence," they're an explosive blend of rock, progressive, blues, and psychedelia! They can't be boxed in; they are who they are!
