Fiorella Mannoia Certe Piccole Voci - Live
Voto:
Hello Socrates. Indeed, there is a bit of a (melodramatic) vein, but one must admit he has quite remarkable vocal qualities. It's strange though that you make this remark, since you said you don't disdain Renato Zero, who has much to teach everyone about melodramatic flair.
Suede Dog Man Star

You’re right that "Dog Man Star" was a controversial album. However, I love it quite a bit, and it differs greatly from their earlier productions (only one album, by the way) and their later ones (all decidedly bland). It may be a bit pompous, but it has its charm.

Infinite Love Songs is no longer available. I have Rose and I find it delightful. Lady Sleep is on the shopping list. I think I will purchase it as soon as possible, let's say over the weekend. However, for the review you did, you could have also given it 4 stars.

But has the new album by Badly Drawn Boy come out? Socrates, I'm waiting for you.

When I wrote the comment above, there was only Bisius. Magically, alongside mine, Socrates appeared. Is it just a coincidence that we have very similar musical tastes? Just a coincidence, huh?!?

But you know that this album didn't receive much acclaim when it was released? Rightly rediscovered and re-evaluated. There She Goes, then, is a beautiful manifesto and a symbol of all brit-pop and beyond.
Gentle Giant The Power And The Glory

It should be noted that tastes are tastes, but Mucchio Extra has placed this album among the 100 supreme horrors of rock. I don't know if anyone bought that issue of Mucchio, but if taken with the right dose of irony, it's the most entertaining thing I've ever read in the musical realm.
Mark Hollis Mark Hollis
Voto:
Even though it's been 8 years since I last listened to it, rediscovering it hasn't really changed my mind much. I still find it a very cryptic work, made up of very little music. It's an extremization, an evolution (or rather involution) of the sound, which was already not easy to interpret, of Laughing Stock. I'm not a music critic, so it's hard for me to be objective, so take it for what it's worth. What’s certain is that thinking back to the Talk Talk of 1984 with It's My Life, it's hard to believe your own ears. But what happened to Mark Hollis? Isn't it possible that he too has lost his mind?

But what kind of cover is this? Wasn't there supposed to be that "gloved" hand on the butt?
Everything But The Girl Amplified Heart

I’ll think about it, but considering my biblical timing, don’t expect anything before a couple of months.
