Sometimes, if a best of consists of around twenty (or more) songs, it may happen that not all of them get examined thoroughly. Nothing special, anyway. I’ll vote for you again.

And then I asked (shouting) for the track list just to see if "As Time Goes By" was there. For the record, it’s not.

To the editors. Sorry, I didn’t mean to shout, that’s not my style (except for very rare exceptions, but not this one). Well done, Enciclopedia Poletti. I have "As Time Goes By" on a Harry Nilsson record, but I knew it because my father listens to it every day. Anyway, it’s a historic song and you did well to remind us of it.

The number one review. Not exactly an epoch-making album to inaugurate a seminal site. It's from January 1, 2001. It took me more than four years to find it and almost two to ask myself what the first review would be. Better late...

Very good. It's a band that has never really drawn me in, but eventually, I will try to get closer. BUT WHY DON'T THE EDITORS INCLUDE THE TRACKLIST ANYMORE???

In any case, anyone who ventures into compilations of various kinds (not just musical) aims to be as objective as possible. Yet, one always ends up slightly disappointing everyone. Therefore, every list, ranking, or classification should be taken for what it is, because in the end, everyone judges with their own ears and their own brain. Nevertheless, it was a ranking formulated based on historical and artistic merits and not (as they wrote) necessarily based on the absolute beauty of the record. To conclude, when someone takes the trouble to trace musical coordinates over three or four decades of music, it is objectively difficult, if not impossible, to find the right balance and, above all, I repeat, to satisfy everyone.

"he never digested it"......sometimes the fingers move slower than the thought.

I love and have loved this album as much as, if not more than, Ziggy Stardust, despite the critics who didn't quite digest it. Maybe because it was the first album by the White Duke that I bought. Amarcord.

Since I'm a precise person and don't like to leave things incomplete, here are the three missing titles: CCCP FEDELI ALLA LINEA/Affinità divergenze... - FRANKIE HI-NRG/Verba manent - THE GANG/Storie d'Italia. For the remaining eighty titles, I am opening a paid subscription and I'm available :-)))
