Everyone says it's an album to be appreciated more for its message than for the music, OK, but it's still a played album and APC have accustomed me to a certain sound, to certain standards. I'm not crazy about this CD... I find it monotonous and cheesy, and I struggle a lot to listen to it. It's still an isolated case.

There are 3 classics... I mean 3 pieces of history... I mean 3 songs that define a genre... I mean it's up there... I want to say that inside here there are 3 and that’s not something everyone can brag about... and then the cover... it’s like the Barilla symbol, like the Mercedes star, like the Mustache of Moretti... Inside here there’s a lot of HM but above all there’s Children of the Damned, the title track and Hallowed be thy Name... 3rd album, 3rd classic!!!

Iron Maiden No Prayer For The Dying

The worst Maiden album (with Dickinson)!!! two decent tracks amidst the banal and useless. A 2 for sentimentality, but it would be a merciless 1 for others!

A good album, there's no doubt about it, is very enjoyable; as for the band, let's hope they aren't just a flash in the pan.

But they'll see the results too: for the <Corrosion> fine, but Phil doesn't see that he's wasting a lot of time, there are few frontmen around like him, he's a jerk but his voice has set the standard and it's never been exploited as fully as in Down (looking at the last works of Pantera where he just growls). Then I think Down have also achieved some satisfaction in terms of sales. What’s the title of the second Down album that I'm missing?

Great analysis jigoro, it was the first album with which I got to know the Maiden, so I'm particularly fond of it... but the masterpieces are elsewhere.
