Well... kulma... if you really want to call them bullshit... that was what I was thinking. Anyway, don't worry. Easy, Meg and the White Stripes themselves are minimalists... right? 2 musicians, no bass, very simple and effective melodies. Well, I don’t mind the White Stripes at all, I even saw them at Flippaut (the one with Audioslave and the glorious QOTSA).

No, that’s obvious... in fact, I said that they are part of the NWOBM, not just the New Wave...

In short, the important thing is that they are under mescaline; I understood correctly, didn’t I? mescaline... right right... maybe even a hint of codeine.

attention attention, CAZ is back! caz, please go say something very provocative, as only you can, among the posts of "Sister" by Sonic Youth?? please!
But damn it... do I really have to buy 30 different records of the same concert?? Aaaaaahhh! well, no one has told me yet if the contents of these records were improvised on the spot or if they were pre-existing songs...
anyway, they are great.

Anyway, any rock encyclopedia, anyone, Iron Maiden themselves, will say they belong to the New Wave Of British Metal. Here, I'm sorry, but I'm right.

Yeah... I stubbed my toe... involuntary amputation of my right pinky... Anyway, kulma... obviously I'm not a macho metalhead fighting against enchanted beasts with hammers and lightning. That's Joey DiMaio from Manowar... and of course, I listen to Manowar when I want to be an idiot. In the post above, I was joking... you know... s c h e r z a r e... b a t t u t e... l a u g h i n g... that sort of thing, right? Easy, are you a drummer too? We could open an extensive and meaningless debate on who the greatest drummer of all time is, which will lead us to support ridiculous nonsense... For example, I argue for Meg White from the White Stripes, no one is better than her (that’s also a joke, okay? Even a scrawny child from Eastern Europe, blind, with one arm and one leg, with polio and scoliosis, could create more "groovy" patterns... oh my god, what a terrifying image!)

Sure, sure... anyone who knows anecdotes about these gentlemen here should share... Ah, "Man of God-fearing", the photo you posted here, did you take it from the vinyl? Because I only have the record and the image is different... it's not even called "the fillmore concerts" but "live at fillmore east" and the photo is in black and white... and there's the little black drummer among the others... damn, can he hit!

Indeed... I didn’t say, “Guys, I'm a badass rock encyclopedia, just listen to me because I'm always right.” What I mean by the new wave movement and its related styles is described up there. And I admit I really know very little, because for me it remains music for depressive schizophrenics with paranoia that I can’t understand and therefore can’t listen to. There must be some musical genre for you that you don’t listen to... some singer/musician that makes you cringe. It’s music for the queers... I prefer my metal from buff macho guys battling against fire-breathing dragons.

Oh my God, how beautiful this album is!! Mamma mia mamma mia mamma mia mamma mia!! Wait, let me put it on... there, Statesboro Blues is playing... oh, how I'm enjoying this. I can't find the words to comment on this little and underrated masterpiece of music... They had two drummers! But clarify something for me, what is currently coming out of my stereo was improvised on the spot on March 12 and 13, 1971 at the Fillmore East?? Ah, how great they were!

So, so... About the '80s, what to say... I don’t like anything from that period, the music, from Madonna to The Cure... even the fashion. Perhaps a few movies survive... actually, the TV shows... TV shows are the greatest thing of the '80s.. McGyver! then also others from the '70s... Dukes Of Hazzard, Chips, A-Team, Magnum PI, and so on. In short, the eighties were a celebration of trash.. and musically speaking, I only save the thrash metal scene. I don't know... there was that total feeling of depression, all about wallowing in self-pity... bands whining... pointless bands! Culture Club, Wham; especially a lot of gays. Regarding new wave, we should first try to understand what we mean by new wave, it wasn’t exactly a small movement.. I identify it as that period from the progressive and slow failure of the rock legends (Led Zeppelin and friends) until the early '90s, when grunge and stoner were born; when RATM and Red Hot Chili Peppers emerged. And there are different types of New Wave, we have the New Wave of British Metal, the New Wave of Punk, and the New Wave of what I call -depressive strain- David Bowie, Velvet Underground, and later The Cure and various idiots..
And regarding these 3 waves, I say that: Iron Maiden, a great band, but they've made 25,000,000 songs that are all the same; Punk... well, let’s forget about punk, the records of the Sex Pistols and all their friends are just good for burning in my fireplace. Finally, the depressives just depress me and that’s it... and I gladly leave them to others who can understand them. Undoubtedly, all these gentlemen have laid the foundations of the current musical landscape, for better or worse... but I don’t like them and I don’t know what to do about it.
