Good job Salma, it’s rare to find someone who admits that with a little time they have misjudged a review and thanks those who criticized them!!! Regarding to bid you firewall, I believe perhaps you haven't fully grasped the meaning of the song (I repeat, the calmness, the peace after the storm... it’s not “static”), or it’s simply a matter of personal taste and then there’s a DE GUSTIBUS... in any case, well done, you have my support!!;-)

Thank you, Belial. Compliments always make me very happy, especially when they are so heartfelt! :-) Anyway, I think I may have exaggerated a bit in the tone with this review, but what can you do? I absolutely love Morningrise, and when I wrote it, I was completely hooked... It's certainly not my best review. Others, like Giubbo, have told me I should write more reviews... But since I joined Debaser, I've written no less than 58!!!

I bought the original some time ago, but I was a bit disappointed. It's not trash, actually it's nice, there are good ideas and it's still a step above many similar works that should be incinerated, but it doesn't excite me all that much. I think 3 stars is the right rating.

Amen, if you go read some interviews with Hatebreed, Jasta says he works for MTV for two reasons: to get the Hatebreed name out there and to earn the money he needs to keep the band going (new gear, etc.). After all, if Napalm Death invited him as a guest on one of their albums (Barney said he doesn't give a fuck about other people's prejudices because he’s known Jasta for a long time and assures that he’s a real metal-head), it must mean something...

No, wait, I've read it better... You don’t deserve a 5, I don’t like some of the expressions which are definitely out of place... So I’ll average it out: 5 for sincerity, 1 for the expressions. The album, however, is a 4, a great album.
