Eels Blinking Lights And Other Revelations
Voto:
The Eels have never really impressed me much, apart from a few singles, but maybe I could start right from this one, since I also have a soft spot for double albums...

It wasn't easy to write a review on an iconic album like this, but I have to say that yours is, all in all, quite readable! One of the fundamental jazz records, now and in 100 years, there's not a note out of place. You went from Rainbow to Miles, congratulations, what a leap!!!
Underworld Beaucoup Fish

Great album, I got it a couple of years ago, and in my opinion, it's their best. Good job, Zion, you really capture what one should expect from this CD!
Brutal Truth Need to Control

Damn, what memories! Winter '94/'95... extreme, brutal, uncompromising disco... aah Nutella...

A sparse and slightly inaccurate review, but the CD is truly beautiful; it deserved a more dignified review...
Faithless No Roots
Voto:
this is the only one I’m missing since the single they released didn't impress me much, but I have to say your review piqued my curiosity quite a bit, and then Faithless are always Faithless...
Anyway, congratulations on the review, it’s not transcendental, but it’s a style I really like!
Kasabian Kasabian
Voto:
The analysis of the current state of new bands is very beautiful! I might be exaggerating, but if I had to put my money on a new name, I would choose the Kasabian. They have really valid songs, they have the right attitude (and I think it’s not constructed like that of their peers), and above all, live they are PHENOMENAL!!! Very engaging and impactful, if you get the chance, don’t let them slip away...

Lessons aside, a great album, even if it’s not one of my favorites, and I have all of Motorhead’s, yes all 600... If I’m not mistaken, that year they also had a nomination for "Best Rock Album" at the awards. An award that of course went to Metallica's Black Album. But I don’t think Lemmy would have cared much anyway. This is also the last one with the old drummer Philty Taylor, who will be replaced by the war machine that is Mikkey Dee...

What a fucking movie!! I remember when I saw it in the cinema (there were maybe ten of us in the theater), the next day I bought the soundtrack, truly evocative. One standout is the song "Settanta" by PGR, and there are also some excerpts from the film. Shot entirely in digital, it offers a surreal glimpse of Bologna in the late '70s, the DAMS, the occupations, etc. And then Fiabeschi in the film is just hilarious! Well done, CapPixel, for bringing it back!
