THE REVIEW

This album marked the success of Faithless thanks to a couple of hit songs, but the whole CD is convincing: do not be deceived by the "rave party" rhythm of "God Is A DJ," as it represents the exception, the most "extreme" song of the CD.
The general atmosphere is reminiscent of a soundtrack, a CD to listen to when it's raining outside and you're comfortably at home watching the rain through the windows.

"Garden" and "Take The Long Way Home" are instrumental: the former, placed at the beginning of the CD, introduces us to that little gem that is "Bring My Family Back," while the latter has an almost tribal rhythm in the background.
"Hour Of Need" is a gospel (!) very well executed, "Why Go?" is slow and fascinating, while "Postcards" features Dido as a second voice, sister (not exactly by blood, considering she's white and he's of color) of Rollo, the group's "rapper."

A great CD, varied, dark, danceable, mystical: it has it all!
