And when will more albums like this be made? Capable of reaching everyone, with songs that are still spectacular today! "Vivere Senza Te," "Dillo Alla Luna," and "Domenica Lunatica" above all...

Well, it's true that the album L.A. Woman is less rebellious, especially compared to Strange Days which is just way too psychedelic!!!! As I read somewhere, this was supposed to be their "Sgt. Pepper," but the pompous production filled with strings diminished its impact, in my opinion... I mean, there are some songs that just don't hold up against the previous ones and those that will follow, like: Tell All The People, Easy Ride (too frivolous), and Do It... Runnin' Blue and Wishful Sinful definitely stand out, and then, well, when The Soft Parade begins, that's a whole different story... I like it enough from "Catacombs, nursery bones, winter women, growin' stones...", and then when it kicks in with "This is the best part of the trip, this is the trip, I really like..." until the end, it's a TOTAL MASTERPIECE!! With this song, I blew out the speakers in my car, but it was worth it... I swear!

The ugly/beautiful copy issue has now become a matter of state; after the devolution in parliament, it's the only thing being talked about :)) Anyway, it's not bad that mom is getting involved; it feels very much like the Barilla ad family... Where there's Debaser, there's home... Did you see Devon, that it only took a (nice) pair of tits to attract the sympathies of a good portion of the male gender present on Debaser?? For us guys, it really takes very little... thankfully!!!

Well, in the end it's not a bad review, just a bit too "standard"...

Courage Devon, you shouldn't take every critique (even unjust) that is written to you to heart. Putting aside the ugly/beautiful copy issue, you’ll see that in the next review certain "naivetes" won’t be there... Back then I listened to this CD quite a lot (but I was 18), and I remember there were some good insights! Ah! Anyway, you're right, we men are all the same... :)

Good job Massimof! I saw them the evening after in Marino (Rm), and Cobain's attitude was exactly the same as you described in this review! But the energy that those 20 songs radiated, played all in a rush, still arrived that night!! Aside from a few obvious forgetfulnesses, it seems like you saw this concert no more than a week ago, a sign that on an emotional level it really left a lot with you, how well I understand you…
P.S. I also have the bootleg of that concert (back then there were dozens floating around), recorded really well, and whenever I want to hurt myself I always put it on.. :))

I miss this, and from what you write, I don't think I'll be able to recover it. I'll settle for listening again to that masterpiece you mentioned, which is "Let's Get Lost"... spectacular!
