The translation of "downtown" is actually "centro." To go "downtown" means to take a trip to the center, where commerce and economic power hubs are found, certainly not to the slums (in fact, quite the opposite). Originally, the term referred to the lowest part (in terms of altitude) of the city, in contrast to uptown (obviously: the highest part). Often, cities were established in the valley as trade centers, and then residences developed on the hills—from which one would go "down" to shop and live "up" in the residential areas. Watch out for easy translations: especially when using the term "literally"!

Hey, giov and ste84, calm down a bit! The anonymous commenter in the first comment (and let me remind you that being anonymous is a right for everyone here and there's nothing wrong with it) doesn't seem to have offended anyone. They simply pointed out that the list of albums reviewed by ste84 is rather predictable (trite). The second anonymous (who may not be the same person) noted the same thing by bringing up the list of all the albums reviewed by ste84. Moreover, giov doesn't seem to deny the banality of ste84's choices (I quote: "Why can't a person have 'banal' tastes?"), so he basically agrees with the two anonymous commenters. Yet, he calls them idiots and cowards, and ste84 goes even further. OH, but who the hell do you think you are? Chill out, kids, if you still haven't understood this is a FREE site, and if someone criticizes you, maybe even harshly but without offending you, it's really not the time to have a hysterical breakdown. What the hell are you, all clones of matteo_brutal?

Nick, just try to memorize the combinations [alt] + number. For example, the e with the grave accent (è) is done by holding [alt] and typing 0232 on the numeric keypad. Or you can use the character map (accessories/system tools/character map), or the on-screen keyboard (accessories/accessibility/on-scree n keyboard). Assuming you're using Windows.

Hal, there is the lp version released by Constellation (October 1997) and the cd version released by Kranky (June 1998). The cd is a bit different. The double lp was released in only 500 copies (later repressed) with a handmade cover, one of three different photos glued on top, and included various gadgets such as a penny flattened by a train (http://www.brainwashed.com/godspeed/music.html).
